With so many cruelty-free cleaning and household brands out there changing their stance on animal testing, I wanted to share this recent cruelty-free cleaning products haul with you! Some of my favorite places to get cruelty-free cleaning products are Trader Joe’s, Whole Foods, Home Goods, Root, Grove and iHerb. This haul includes a ton of different products and different brands that can be used all over the home.
Root is known for making cruelty-free, vegan, and natural makeup and skincare. When they added cleaning products into their inventory, I couldn’t wait to try them. Currently, the cruelty-free cleaning products from Root are the Pretty Everything Soap and the Pretty Surface Cleaner. Between these two different cleaners are both all-purpose cleansers that can be used in a variety of ways around your home.
Root sent me the Pretty Surface Cleaner to try when it first came out and I purchased their Pretty Everything Soap. I also picked up their foaming soap dispensers as well. Since I know a lot of you are looking for new cruelty-free cleaning products, I wanted to share my thoughts on the two that are currently available from Root.
Right now, many of us are looking for new cruelty-free and vegan-friendly household brands to use. Especially brands that are easily available in stores across the country. Astonish, a cleaning brand that was recently approved by Logical Harmony as both cruelty-free and vegan, is very popular in the UK. Now they are coming to the US!
Starting tomorrow, Astonish will be in some Bed Bath & Beyond stores. Don’t want to wait or don’t have a store near you? Astonish is also already available online from Bed Bath & Beyond! It’s very exciting to see a major retailer like Bed Bath & Beyond start to carry a cruelty-free brand like Astonish.
The number of products available will be a limited version of the Astonish range, but still enough to clean your home.

One goal of mine lately is to make a bigger effort to take “me time”. Like so many of you, I’m very busy and it’s really easy to skip taking this time for myself in favor of working on projects, cleaning the house, or a variety of other things. I’m really excited to partner with PEOPLE and Sunset on this post to detail how I work “me time” into my routine. This is a post I had been wanting to create for some time, and I love that I was able to partner with them to help share this with you.
Unwinding in the evenings with some tea, essential oils, chakra sprays, crystals and something to read is one of my favorite ways to add in some “me time”. I love to take a break and feel relaxed and inspired. I put some oil(s) in my diffuser, mist myself with a chakra spray, get out my rose quartz and sip some tea while relaxing. This little ritual is one of the easiest ways for me to get that time while transitioning between work and working on Logical Harmony or Lightworker Crystals or to help me start the day. This is probably the most common way that I take “me time” as well.
I had been looking for a good greens powder to add to my smoothies for a while, and when I heard about the Hum Nutrition Raw Beauty Green Superfood Powder I decided to give it a try. The mix of raw organic greens and adapotgenic herbs in the ingredients were really interesting to me. Reading through the ingredient list, I just saw one thing after another that I had heard would be a great supplement. I was both intrigued and put off by the mint chocolate chip flavor, but decided that it was worth trying.
