Is Too Faced cruelty-free? Yes! Too Faced is cruelty-free.

Too Faced is cruelty-free! They do not test on animals at any point, nor do they hire any 3rd parties to test on animals on their behalf.

As of November 2016, Too Faced is now owned by Estee Lauder. While Too Faced is going to remain a cruelty-free brand and is committed to its cruelty-free stance, Estee Lauder is not cruelty-free. There are a lot of different opinions about supporting cruelty-free brands that are owned by a parent company that tests and I believe this is a choice individuals should make for themselves. At the end of the day, I would rather people purchase from a cruelty-free brand with a parent company that is not cruelty-free than purchase from a brand that tests on animals themselves. I encourage everyone who supports cruelty-free brands to let Too Faced and Estee Lauder know that being cruelty-free is important to you.

  1. Hello! I just wanted to ask if you would know if the Pumpkin Spice eyeshadow palette is vegan? I do not believe it is, but cannot seem to find an ingredient list since it was limited edition.

    Thanks!~

  2. Hiya Tashina! I was just wondering is you knew if their Chocolate Gold eyeshadow palette is vegan? Thank you so much for putting together this list, it certainly helps a lot!

  3. how is better than sex vegan, but the waterproof version isn’t? do you have any good vegan waterproof mascara’s that’re similar to better than sex?

      1. On too faced website they still label it as vegan despite the beeswax in it! I figured I’d comment just so people are aware that it’s labeled incorrectly and it is NOT vegan.

  4. Hi Tashina,

First off, thank you for posting this! I am really interested in Too Faced’s Peach Perfect Comfort Matte Foundation and wanted to check if it was vegan first. I came upon your article which says it is, however their sites doesn’t list it on their vegan products list in the FAQ. How did you confirm it is vegan? I really look forward to hearing back from you! Thanks again 🙂

  5. Hi,

Im a bit confused. Your list say Sweetie Pie Radiant Matte Bronzer – Peaches and Cream Collection is vegan but on too faced website it says it isnt vegan?

      1. sorry, i meant Sweet Peach Glow Peach-Infused Highlighting Palette? It’s not listed as vegan on their website? Also, they list Sweet peach eye shadow palette as vegan but don’t see it in your list? x

        1. The Sweet Peach Glow palette is listed as vegan on their site. 🙂 I think that they are just now adding the vegan logos to product pages, but it’s listed on their FAQ page and they have confirmed to me that it’s vegan as well.

  6. Hey,

Too faced website doesn’t say anything about Sweetie Pie Radiant Matte Bronzer – Peaches and Cream Collection being vegan but it’s in your list. Just wondering if it actually vegan?

  7. Hi Tashina! I was wondering if the Love Light Highligters are vegan? They contain squalane which could be derived from plants or sharks, but their Sweet Peach Glow highlighter also contains squalane and it’s on the vegan list, so I suspect that they source their squalane from plants. However, the Love Light Highlighters aren’t on the list so I’m wondering if there’s something else wrong with them.

  8. Hi thanks for your list, way more helpful than their website. I’m super disappointed because on the too face website in the vegan section of products they say the natural matte palette is vegan. I bought it today realizing it has carmine. Ugh thanks for the help

  9. For the Love Flush Blush are all shades vegan or are only the two you have posted? I recently bought long hangover and I’m hoping it’s vegan. I’ve recently transitioned to cruelty free so I’m using up old products and trying to adjust and understand everything. Thanks! ??
