Is Too Faced cruelty-free? Yes! Too Faced is cruelty-free.

Too Faced is cruelty-free! They do not test on animals at any point, nor do they hire any 3rd parties to test on animals on their behalf.

As of November 2016, Too Faced is now owned by Estee Lauder. While Too Faced is going to remain a cruelty-free brand and is committed to its cruelty-free stance, Estee Lauder is not cruelty-free. There are a lot of different opinions about supporting cruelty-free brands that are owned by a parent company that tests and I believe this is a choice individuals should make for themselves. At the end of the day, I would rather people purchase from a cruelty-free brand with a parent company that is not cruelty-free than purchase from a brand that tests on animals themselves. I encourage everyone who supports cruelty-free brands to let Too Faced and Estee Lauder know that being cruelty-free is important to you.

  1. Hi, Tashina!

I’ve been seeing everyone go gaga for Too Faced’s Peach Pallette Collection, and I want to do so, too! Contacting Too Faced CS is proving to be a bit of an issue in light of the collection’s comeback, so I haven’t had much luck finding out if anything in their Peach collection is vegan. I’ve found that when I drop a comment in their IG people keep mentioning that they’re cruelty free. Um, not what I asked, though?

    Can you please help?

  2. Hi Tashina *=)

Wondering if any of the new Peach Collection items (coming DEC. 14) are vegan.
Sephora’s site has ingredients for them and the glow palette & glosses don’t include carmine, but I’m unsure about others.

    Thanks for everything!

  3. Hi Tashina, I was wondering if the new Brow Quickie was vegan? Nothing stands out as animal based in the ingredients, but I just wanted to be sure 🙂

  4. Hi,
I’m just wondering if the too faced candle light glow powder is vegan? I’ve emailed the company but still no reply and I’m getting impatient because it’s so pretty so fingers crossed its vegan!
    Thank you in advance x

  5. Hi Tashina!

I used your list the last time I was at Sephora (Thank you!), but there was one lipstick from TooFaced that confused me. Is the Melted Matte vegan? I know Melted Metal and Melted Longwear are, but I couldn’t find any info about the Melted Matte. I’m hoping it’s just missing from the list because it’s so new!
    Thanks!

  6. May i ask if you know if they will make any of there eyeshadow pallets vegan. I tried contacting them 3 times with this question with no response. Also why not remove the items that are no longer available from the list as it is a bit much to scroll through. Thank you so much for the lost and information.

  7. Hi, I’m wondering about the better than sex mascara since this contains collagen which is normally from animal sources. Can you confirm that this is definitely vegan please? I have actually emailed the company myself 3 or 4 times to ask but it’s been a year with no reply.
