When I placed my first order for some Velour Liquid Lipstick shades, I also picked up the Jeffree Star Velour Lip Scrub in Strawberry Gum. Because they can be drying, a good lip scrub is an essential if you plan on wearing liquid lipsticks. Trying one from Jeffree’s own line seemed like the best thing to try with his liquid lipsticks.
Claims: “Use our delicious sugar based lip scrub to prep your lips before applying any liquid lipstick. Take a scoop out and rub your mouth in circular motions. Lick away excess (yes, it’s edible!) or wipe off with a tissue.”
Micro dermabrasion products are relatively new to me. While I have heard a lot about them, I’ve had a hard time finding ones that were both cruelty free and vegan. Recently Pacifica launched a new skincare line and I was able to give a lot of the items a try. Included in this new line was the Pacifica Skin Revival Micro Dermabrasion Scrub! I was so excited to finally try one out and see what the hype was all about.
You can find out more about all of the products in that line in the post Introducing the New Skincare from Pacifica.
Claims: “Revive, brighten and make aging insignificant in your future as you gently scrub dullness away. This effective yet gentle formula with natural beneficials improves the appearance of fine lines and texture.”

This sea salt body scrub is made with a blend of citrus oils for an energizing pick-me-up. Over the past several years, I have tried a lot of body scrubs. Now, when I say that I have tried a lot, I don’t just mean a handful. I mean a lot. As in at least 20-30 different kinds. I have always been looking for one that was the perfect balance. One that would exfoliate my skin, not irritate it, and leave my skin super soft and smooth for hours after use. So one of my favorite beauty and skincare brands, Pacifica, sent me their Kona Coffee Sugar Detox Scrub, I could not wait to try it. I have had a serious love of their products for years. I hoped that their scrub would be as amazing as the other products from them.
Claims: “A wake-up call for dull, tired skin, this innovative and effective body scrub deeply nourishes, tones and brightens as it removes dead skin cells, preparing skin for maximum moisture absorption and even color distribution. Sugar and sea salt exfoliate both manually and chemically, while amazing coconut oil – rich in vitamins and essential fatty acids – feeds, replenishes and hydrates for skin that is supremely soft and supple. With super-caffeinated benefits, Kona coffee improves the appearance of skin texture as it stimulates.“
