Reviva Labs Light Skin Peel Review
Having a good scrub or skin exfoliation product is essential. Especially as the weather is changing and so are your skin care needs. I was really happy with the seaweed soap from Reviva Labs and the great job it did exfoliating, so I couldn’t wait to try the Reviva Labs Light Skin Peel. While it’s suggested to only use them once a week, a good scrub can make a big difference in how your skin looks. It removes dead skin cells and other impurities that your regular skin cleanser might not be able to remove.
It’s important to note that, unlike the name may imply, the Reviva Labs Light Skin Peel isn’t a chemical peel. “It doesn’t ‘peel skin’ as we know it, but gently lifts off more hardened, dried skin cells than can be achieved by scrubs or any other ‘exfoliating’ product.” Instead, it’s a simple and great exfoliating scrub.
The ingredients of the soap are as follows : Purified Water, SDA Alcohol 40, Crushed Almonds, Vegetable Oil, Zinc Oxide, Kaolin, Starch, Glycerin, Chamomile, Methylcellulose, Salyicylic Acid, Allantoin, Papain, Sodium Benzoate, Potassium Sorbate, Citric Acid, Oil of Thyme. I have confirmed with Reviva Labs that the Gylcerin in this product is plant-based.
I liked that the Light Skin Peel did exactly what it claimed. It was easy to use, gentle on my skin, and left it feeling super soft and smooth. You really do notice a visible difference in your skin. Even after just one use. I feel like this is really rare of exfoliating products out there, and as a result I usually end up avoiding them. After I used it, I applied moisturizer and then used the Reviva Labs Makeup Primer under my makeup. This made my skin even softer.
There was honestly nothing that I didn’t like about the Reviva Labs Light Skin Peel. If you use beauty products on a regular basis, you know how rare it is that you will say this. However, it’s the honest truth. I loved this product! Definitely pick it up and give it a try. Trust me, it’s worth every cent.

I only wish it didn’t have salyicylic acid in it, otherwise I’d suggest it to my sister who has been looking for a new peel since Freeman quit making their grapefruit mask. She has a really great skin care regimen that keeps her skin amazingly clear, and like you said, exfoliation is an imperative part of this process. You know, I should have her email you her coconut oil scrub ‘recipe’ to post. 100% natural and is pretty much THE BEST THING EVER for use before shaving your legs. (I’m way too lazy to go to the coconut oil post to write this part, haha sorry.)
Please send me her coconut oil scrub recipe! I would love to try and it share it with the readers!
