NCLA The Nudes Collection
NCLA recently launched a new collection of nude nail polishes. While this cruelty-free and vegan brand has been producing high-quality nail polishes and nail wraps for years, they had yet to do a collection of nude shades. I was so excited when I first heard the news! NCLA provided me with all six shades to try out and wear.
Typically, I avoid nude shades of nail polish. The shades are never quite right and always seem too light, lacking dimension, and just not pretty shades. I was intrigued by The Nudes collection from NCLA becauseI knew that these shades would be truly different than any other nude nail polish shades I have tried in the past.

Pictured above is the full NCLA The Nudes collection – Volume I, Volume II, Volume III, Volume IV, Volume V, and Volume VI.
Volume I is described as a barely there light nude. This shade is very light, and has a subtle pink undertone.
Volume II is described as a shimmering light nude. I feel that this shade has a purpley-pink tone to it.
Volume III is described as a shimmery light nude. I feel that it has a peachy tone to the shade. This has become my go-to shade from this collection.
Volume IV is described as a sandy nude. When applied, this shade is a classic nude with a touch of mauve.
Volume V is described as a toasty shade. This shade is a darker nude that has the perfect touch of brown.
Volume VI is described as a rich mocha shade. This shade is gorgeous because it is dark, but not flat in color.

I just received Vol. 4, and I’m not a fan I the brush. Such a pretty color, I absolutely love it, but the brush, unfortunately, leaves deep streaks.
That sounds frustrating. I don’t think I have ever had those issues with any of their brushes. You may want to contact their customer service team about it. 🙂
