Ulta can be one of the best places to shop for cruelty-free skincare. While there are lots of cruelty-free brands at Ulta, I wanted to create a guide specifically for cruelty-free skincare. This guide will help you find all of the options for cruelty-free skincare at Ulta. You can find everything from treatments to masks to cleansers to toners and everything in between. Some of these brands are also completely vegan too. It doesn’t matter if you’re shopping for skincare on the Ulta website or in-store, it’s going to help make your cruelty-free shopping easier.

Cruelty-Free Skincare at Ulta:

The following are the cruelty-free skincare brands sold at Ulta.

Are all the vegan skincare options at Ulta also cruelty-free?

Unfortunately, no. If you use the Vegan section on the Ulta website or search by the keyword “vegan”, not everything that shows up will be from a cruelty-free brand.

There are some skincare products at Ulta that have a vegan formula but the brand is not cruelty-free. An example of this is some of the products from Khiel’s, Clarins, and Phyto. These brands are all on the Logical Harmony Brands to Avoid list. Some product pages note that they are vegan-friendly. Ulta does have a vegan section but it’s frustrating because not all of the brands featured there are cruelty-free. This can be misleading as many people assume that vegan also means cruelty-free. As I point out in the post about the difference between cruelty-free and vegan, the two terms are not the same. Cruelty-free does not mean vegan. Vegan does not mean cruelty-free.
