The following brands are all cruelty-free and offer cruelty-free false lashes. While they are cruelty-free, some of these brands do offer false lashes or other products that are not vegan, or lashes from human hair, so be sure to read ingredients before purchasing. Brands that are 100% vegan are noted.

Cruelty-Free False Lashes:

If a brand does not test on animals but only makes lashes from silk or animal hair (such as mink lashes), they are not listed here. With so many cruelty-free false lashes available that are not sourced from animals, I would prefer to encourage people to buy those options. When buying cruelty-free false lashes, it’s very important to be sure that you can figure out what the lashes are made from. A lot of brands market real silk false lashes as being vegan, but I do not consider them to be vegan.

  1. Hey Tashina! 🙂
Have you tried the Social Eyes Lashes (owned by karissa pukas & her brother) ?

They are amazing cruelty free and vegan lashes! They even have their Mink style lashes which are 100% Vegan 🙂

  2. Has there been any contact with Kiss Lashes? I’ve been buying them under the impression that they were cruelty-free but since they’re not listed here I’m wondering if I need to switch brands.

      1. I reached out to them recently and just got a generic reply that they don’t test on animals, but they didn’t mention ingredients or whether or not they sell where testing is required by law. I’m going to reach out again to see if they’ll clarify.

  3. I recently bought lashes from eco tools but felt like they didn’t really stick on very well, i tried the glue they came with as well as duo and by the end of the night they were already sticking out from the ends 🙁

  4. Hi!

I’m in love with Amazing Shine eyelashes, I was just wondering if you could extend your AMAZINGLY FANTASTIC research into them, I know the lashes are human hair, but don’t know about the glues.

Thankyou so very much for keeping us updated. 🙂 xxx Amazing work xxx

  5. Urban Decay isn’t cruelty free! It’s owned by L’oreal which tests on animals. Many companies that claim to be cruelty-free are owned by “parent companies” that test on animals.

    1. Urban Decay themselves are cruelty free. Some people choose to support cruelty free brands regardless of their parent companies. It’s up to the individual to decide what they are comfortable supporting.

      1. In a way it makes sense to support the brand that isn’t cruelty free to show the parent company that they can be successful without the cruelty of testing on animals. I can see both sides.
