Pacifica Quinoa Sensitive Face Wash Review

Pacifica Quinoa Sensitive Face Wash Review

I have always had good luck with Pacifica’s skin care products. When the Pacifica Quinoa Sensitive Face Wash first came out, I immediately wanted to try it. I have used their Sea Foam Face Wash for years and was curious how this one would compare. Being specifically formulated for sensitive skin but also promising to remove makeup seemed like it could be too good to be true. I’ve tried so many cleansers that are gentle, but not great at removing lots of makeup. I couldn’t wait to put the Pacifica Quinoa Sensitive Face Wash to the test!

Claims: “Calming herbal extracts help balance and support while you gently remove make-up, pollution and the day’s toxins for refreshed skin at any age. Make your skin ready for the bevy of great ingredients you are about to use. All skin types especially sensitive.”

Ingredients: Glycerin, Sodium Cocoyl Glutamate, Aloe Vera Barbadensis Leaf Juice, Helianthus Annuss (Sunflower) Seed Oil, Gluconolactone (Corn), Cetearyl Glucocide, Capric/ Caprylic Triglycerides, Aqua (Purified), Caprylyl Glycol, Proanediol, Gylceryle Undercylenate, Sucrose State, Decyl Glucocide, Oryza Sativa (Rice) Extract, Glyceryl Caprylate, Lactobacillus/Punica Granatum Fruit Ferment Extract, Bioflavanoids, Potassium Sorbate, Parfum (All Natural), Chenopodium Quinoa Seed Extract, Calendula Flower Extract

Directions for use:Use morning and night. Apply to damp skin in a circular motion. Rinse.

Pros: Very gentle cleanser. Was not drying. Easily removes even stubborn makeup. Cruelty-free and vegan brand.

Cons: None.

The Verdict: The Pacifica Quinoa Sensitive Face Wash has won a permanent place in my skincare rotation. I talked about it a bit in my May Favorites as well. This cleanser is very gentle but very effective. It feels very creamy when applying it to my skin, and doesn’t leave my skin feeling dry or tight after I use it. It is really effective at removing makeup. This stuff easily takes off even the most stubborn makeup with little effort. It basically melts away any products that I have on my face. I have even used it to remove mascara and gel eye liner without issue. If you have dry or sensitive skin, this is definitely a face wash to try.
