Pressed Juicery JUICE Book Launch
If you live in a metropolitan area in America, odds are that you have heard of Pressed Juicery. If you have ever had a juice from Pressed Juicery, odds are that you are now a regular customer. Their storefronts and website offer a large variety of fresh, cold-pressed juices to please every palette. From the green juice lover to the person who just wants their chocolatey almond milk. At some locations, you can even order soft serve made with their juices, called FREEZE.
A couple of weeks ago I was able to attend a talk and book signing of the brand new book JUICE: Recipes for Juicing, Cleansing, and Living Well. Two of the founders of Pressed Juicery – Hayden Slater and Carly de Castro took the time to share their thoughts on the book and talk about juice. This talk was sponsored by Diesel, a bookstore and held at the Marin Countrymart Farmer’s Market. It was a lovely setting for the event.
At the event we were able to sample a variety of the top-selling juices from Pressed Juicery. My personal favorites are Greens 1 (kale, spinach, romaine, parsley, cucumber, & celery) and Greens 3 (kale, spinach, romaine, parsley, cucumber, celery, apple, lemon, & ginger). Though I have to admit the sample of Citrus 2 (pineapple, apple, lemon, & mint) was amazing!
Pictured above are founders Hayden Slater and Carly de Castro sharing why they decided to publish JUICE: Recipes for Juicing, Cleansing, and Living Well. They wanted to make juicing more accessible to people everywhere. A lot of people are interested in the items from Pressed Juicery, but do not live near a location or just want to make the items at home. I think it’s wonderful that they decided to create this book to further share the juice experience.
Written by the three founders (Hayden, Carly, and Hedi Gores), JUICE: Recipes for Juicing, Cleansing, and Living Well is a great guide for anyone interested in juicing. They share juicing tips, thoughts on the various kinds of juicers available, and the benefits of juicing. It includes classic Pressed Juicery juices as well as lots of new varieties. There are even recipes to help make sure that you are able to use the pulp leftover after juicing.
Of course, I had to bring home my own copy of JUICE: Recipes for Juicing, Cleansing, and Living Well. I’m very excited to select a new juicer with the help of their expert tips and use the recipes to add juicing as a part of my daily routine.
Of course, with a Pressed Juicery location nearby I had to stop after the book talk and signing. This seasonal juice is only around for a limited time and sounded too good to pass up. It was so delicious!
I’m very excited about the release of the book JUICE: Recipes for Juicing, Cleansing, and Living Well. I think it’s amazing that the team behind Pressed Juicery wants to bring the health benefits of juicing to everyone. It’s a mission that I can definitely support.
Are you a fan of juicing? What are your favorite recipes?
