Let’s paint our nails and end violence against children. #polishedman
If you’ve been reading Logical Harmony for a while you know we try not to stray too much from cruelty-free and vegan beauty, with a little bit of food and fitness thrown in for good measure.
You also know that I (Justin) don’t speak up too often on Logical Harmony except for the occasional “favorites” video or to give you an update on the projects I’ve been working on.
Today is a little different…
Today we’re talking about painting our fingernails in an effort to raise awareness for, and put an end to, violence against children.
That’s right ladies and gentlemen, I’m talking about being a Polished Man.
Being a Polished Man is about standing up for those who may not be able to stand up for themselves and providing recovery and relief for children across the globe.
And it’s super simple.
All you do is paint one of your fingernails for the month of October. Whenever someone asks you about it (and they will) it’s an opportunity to let them know about the cause and ask them to donate. You can sign up for your own Polished Man account at polishedman.com or you can send them to the Polished Man account I’ve created at polishedman.com/logicalharmony.
Whether you decide to be a Polished Man yourself, or you help by donating to our Polished Man campaign, I hope you’ll paint an accent nail and join us! (Be sure to tag your photos with #polishedman & @logicalharmony!)
P.S. No matter what gender you identify with, you can help.
From PolishedMan.com:
HOW CAN WOMEN GET INVOLVED?
“I prefer a #PolishedMan”
Ladies, we need your help, too!
- Rally behind the men in your life and tell them to become a Polished Man.
- Tell the world, “I prefer a #PolishedMan” on social – selfie alone or with your Polished Man.
- Help nail it for them. Lend your men a hand and help give him a fresh coat of paint.
- Nail it yourself, and paint one feature nail for the month and raise funds and awareness.
We would love to see your photos on social! Be sure to tag your photos with #polishedman & @logicalharmony!
P.P.S. I would like to thank Kester Black for sending out the promotional email that first brought my attention to #PolishedMan.
