Pacifica Persian Rose Body Butter Review

Pacifica Persian Rose Body Butter Review

One of my favorite beauty and skincare brands is Pacifica. I have been a fan of theirs for years! After going cruelty free and vegan with my beauty routine I was overjoyed to find out that all Pacifica products are both cruelty free and vegan as well. Their Persian Rose scent has been my go-to scent for a long time now. Because I love the perfume so much, it was only a matter of time before the Pacifica Persian Rose Body Butter made it into my skincare routine.

Claims: “Our blend of Bulgarian rose, subtle violet, myrrh and delicate fruit is a nod to the floral empire of the Persians, the kings of perfume in the 9th century. Spiritual, elegant and classic. Smell incredible with our nourishing and anti-oxidant rich ingredients.  Our body butter helps fight signs of aging while adding deep moisture and protection.  Made with nature’s best moisturizers – shea butter, almond oil and safflower oil –  Pacifica’s paraben-free Body Butter is a skin must-have.

Ingredients: aqua (purified), caprylic/capric triglyceride (coconut source), helianthus annuus (sunflower) seed oil, glycerin (vegetable source), glyceryl stearate (vegetable source), aloe barbadensis leaf juice, stearic acid (vegetable source), stearyl alcohol (vegetable source), butyrospermum parkii (shea) butter, allantoin, theobroma cacao (cocoa) butter, hyaluronic acid, simmondsia chinensis (jojoba) seed oil, xanthan gum (vegetable source), algin (algae source), riboflavin (plant source), mangifera indica (mango) butter, rosa rugosa (rose) seed oil, daucus carota (carrot) seed oil, aleuritus moluccana (kukui) nut oil, macadamia ternifolia seed oil, linum usitatissimum (flax) seed oil, mixed tocopherols (vitamin E), panthenol (pro-vitamin B), parfum (Pacifica’s own fragrance blend with natural and essential oils), cucumis sativus (cucumber) fruit extract, arnica montana flower extract, chamomilla recutita (matricaria) flower extract, camellia sinesis (white tea) leaf extract, phenoxyethanol and ethylhexylglycerin (plant source)

Pros: Very thick and creamy formula. Lightly scented. Very hydrating. Easy to store tube – no need to worry about product spills or leaks. Cruelty free brand. Vegan formula.

Cons: The tube packaging is convenient, but will need to be cut open to get all of the product out.

The Verdict: I am already a sucker for the Persian Rose fragrance, so it is no surprise that I love how this body butter smells. It’s floral without being overpowering or fake. The formula of this body butter is really great, too. It is thick and does a great job of moisturizing. It is not at all oily or greasy. I like that the Persian Rose body butter comes in a tube because I can toss it in my purse when I am on the go to moisturize and touch-up my fragrance as needed during the day.

I’m currently using this product too – first experience with their body butters. These are great, but I wouldn’t call them “butters”, more like a cream. They feel & smell so nice though!

Cream is definitely a better word for it than butter. I’m glad that you like them too! Which scent are you using?

I recently spotted tubes of Pacifica body butter in Persian Rose scent and others at my local Marshalls and TJ Maxx! I think they were $8 apiece.
