Pacifica Naked Quench Lip Balm Review

Pacifica Naked Quench Lip Balm Review

As a big fan of the Pacifica Quench Tinted Lip Balm, I was so excited when I recently discovered a clear version. The Pacifica Naked Quench Lip Balm promises to moisturize like the original, but without any tint of color. I am a bit of a lip balm fanatic, so I had to pick it up to try out. I used this lip balm on its own, under lipstick, and under liquid lipstick to see how it worked.

Claims: “Our NEW Naked Quench Lip Balm packs tint-free major lip moisture, and nourishing naturals into one perfectly portable, 100% recyclable tube. Essential fatty acids from rich and amazing avocado and coconut oils leave lips luscious and healthy.”

Ingredients: COCOS NUCIFERA (COCONUT) OIL, CERIFERA (CANDELILLA) WAX, GLYCINE SOJA (SOY) BEAN WAY, PERSEA GRATISSIMA (AVOCADO) OIL, THEOBROMA CACAO (COCOA) BUTTER, TOCOPHEROL (VITAMIN E), ROSEMARINUS OFFICINALIS (ROSEMWAR) EXTRACT, ALL NATURAL FLAVOR.

Pros: Very moisturizing. Matte formula, not very shiny. Cruelty-free and vegan brand.

Cons: The cherry scent may not be one everyone likes.

The Verdict: The Pacifica Naked Quench Lip Balm definitely met my (high) expectations. It was so moisturizing and applied very smoothly and easily. It doesn’t feel at all heavy or greasy on my lips. I also noticed that it has closer to a matte finish instead of a shiny one like some lip balms do. I tried this lip balm on its own, under lipstick, and under liquid lipstick. In all cases, it worked great to moisturize and provided long-lasting moisture. It did not seem to impact the application or wear of lipstick or liquid lipstick, which is always a great thing. While traveling recently this was actually the only lip balm that I took with me. This says a lot about how I feel about its performance.

If you have been looking for a good lip balm to try, the Pacifica Naked Quench Lip Balm is a great option. It’s especially great for those looking for a versatile lip balm that you can wear with your other makeup or alone.
