  1. Hi again,

I was confused by the statement on Milani’s site about the Keep It Full plumpers, so I reached out to them for clarification on which shades were vegan. The rep came back and said that in fact NONE are vegan, as the synthetic beeswax actually contains animal products.

  2. Hi Tashina! I recently contacted Milani’s customer service to check if the Spice and All Natural shades of the Color Statement lip liners were still vegan (I saw they weren’t listed on some other vegan lists, like ethical elephant’s), and the representative told me those the product can’t be considered vegan because carmine was on a “may contain” list and didn’t confirm if those two shades actually did/didn’t have carmine. Do you know if those shades or any of the shades of the Color Statement lip liners are still vegan? Thank you so much for all the work you do!

    1. Hi! The shades listed here are still vegan. Because some shades of some products are not vegan, Milani has recently adopted an all or nothing type approach to calling things vegan. If not every shade of a product is vegan, they are no longer calling any shades vegan. I think people were getting confused, buying non-vegan shades, and getting upset with the brand. This is often the case when brands change to this kind of stance.

  3. Do you happen to know if the Milani Keep It Full gloss in Rosy Bronze is vegan? I’m pretty sure it’s an Ulta exclusive, but I can’t find a definitive ingredients list for that shade.

  4. I’ve tried ordering from the Milani website and it constantly said vegan and carmine in same ingredient info. Maybe it was a glitch in their program – but does anyone know if it’s legit?

      1. Hi! I think this might also relate to my question – I have just checked the Milani website and there are fewer products on their ‘vegan’ list than on your list, is that because Milani are being over cautious with the +/-? For example, I have the baked bronzer and baked blush, both of which are not listed as vegan on their website but are in your list? Any help you could give would be much appreciated 🙂 x
