Milani Easy Brow Pencil Review

Milani Easy Brow Pencil Review

If you have watched any of my get ready with me videos on YouTube, then you know I’m a Brow Wiz addict. The Milani Easy Brow Pencil has been on my radar for a while. It’s one of the vegan products available from Milani and I’ve heard it compared to Brow Wiz in the past. Because it’s much more affordable than Brow Wiz, I was curious to see how the two compared and picked up the Milani Easy Brow Pencil to try.

Claims: “Want to ‘bold up’ your brows? Pencil in this smooth-glide little number. On one end: Buildable, water-resistant color that lets you fill in and intensify. On the other end: A specially designed brush, that neatens and blends. Bonus: The automatic tip means you can skip the sharpening.”

Pros: Rich color. Can create fine or bold lines. Easy to apply. Spoolie brush works well to tame brows. Cruelty free brand. Vegan formula.

Cons: Only two shades available, so it may be hard for some to use. The mechanical tip doesn’t stay very sharp.

Milani Easy Brow Pencil Review

The Verdict: For the cost, the Milani Easy Brow Pencil is a great vegan brow product from the drugstore. The spoolie does a great job of brushing hairs, the pencil goes on very smoothly and can be used to easily fill in brows and mimic any type of hair texture. It’s nice that it’s a twist up pencil. This is definitely handy when you’re in a hurry or traveling and may not have a sharpener with you. At first, the tip is very sharp and does a great job of mimicking the look of fine brow hairs. However, since there is no way to sharpen it, the tip does get dull and wider as you use the product. This makes blending more necessary and makes it harder to mimic the look of individual hairs. There are currently two shades available. One meant for blonde and light brown hair and a second meant for medium and dark brown hair. Both run on the darker shade of the shade spectrum. Because of this, I’m not sure this is a great option for those with lighter brows.

Because finding a budget-friendly vegan brow product is difficult, this is a great option for many. The formula is great and the cons are things that can be worked with. This won’t be replacing my Brow Wiz, but I do love knowing that it’s at the drugstore if I am ever in a pinch.
