Now that the July Beauty Box I co-curated for Petit Vour has been revealed, I am so excited to share my thoughts on each item inside with you! As I have stated several times, all items in the box are things that I love and use myself. Because of that, I may be a bit biased with my reviews.
When looking for a great polish for summer, I want something that’s fun and fresh. Lolli by LVX fits the bill perfectly.
Claims: “Our long-lasting, chip resistant and gel-like formula is free of the 5 toxic harsh chemicals found in most common nail lacquer formulas. We are devoted to providing you with top quality, socially responsible and vegan-friendly luxury products without compromising quality, durability and finish.”
Ingredients: Ethyl Acetate, Butyl Acetate, Isopropyl Alcohol, Nitrocellulose, Adipic Acid/Neopentyl Glycol/Trimellitic Anhydride Copolymer, Trimethyl Pentanyl Diisobutyrate, Triphenyl Phosphate, Stearalkonium Hectorite, Diacetone Alcohol, Citric Acid, Benzophenone-1
Pros: Cruelty free and vegan. Made in the USA. 5 free formula. Creamy consistency. Chip-resistant formula. Decent color with just one coat.
Cons: When adding multiple coats, if you do not wait until the previous coat is completely dry you could end up with a streaky looking finish.
The Verdict: Pastel pink polishes are, hands down, one of my favorites. Growing up I was never into the color pink. At all. Now I love the color and can’t get enough! This is a great shade that I plan to wear year-round. I think that it’s especially fun in the summer because it makes tan skin really stand out. The chip resistant formula holds up really well, making it perfect for those of us who are too busy to worry about our nails on a daily basis.
