Gressa Lip Boost Review

Gressa Lip Boost Review

I was first introduced to Gressa through a previous Limited Luxury box from Petit Vour. That box contained the Gressa Lip Boost in Bare. It was love at first swipe. Recently Gressa sent me a package of goodies to try with three shades of Lip Boost included. Knowing that I already loved the formula, I was curious to see how the other shades compared to Bare.

Claims: “Light, non-sticky and moisturizing, it feels like a balm yet looks like a gloss.“

Ingredients: Ricinus Communis (Castor) Seed Oil, Cocos Nucifera (Coconut) Oil, Seabuckthorn Seed Oil, Copernicia Cerifera (Carnauba) Wax, Theobroma Cacao (Cocoa) Seed Butter, Rosmarinus Officinalis (Rosemary) Extract, Tocopherol (Vitamin E) Non-GMO, Mica, Iron Oxides.

Gressa Lip Boost Brilliant

Brilliant is a very natural peachy nude shade.

Gressa Lip Boost Brilliant

I have to say that I really like Brilliant as a base for lipsticks and as a way to tone down shades that are a bit too bright or too bold. The color is very subtle. But it is very hydrating and is great to have in your makeup bag. If you were going with a bold eye look, Brilliant would be the perfect shade to pair with it.

Continue reading the rest of this post for a full review, including product shots, swatches, and thoughts about each shade.

Gressa Lip Boost Bare

Bare is what I would describe as one of those “your lips but better” shades. It’s a gorgeous nude that flatters all skin tones.

Gressa Lip Boost Bare

This Lip Boost is one of my favorite lip products. I feel like the color looks natural but also really polishes any natural makeup look. Bare is the perfect color on anyone. Seriously. You need this Lip Boost shade!

Gressa Lip Boost Aux Rouge

Aux Rouge is a great shade for those who want to ease into the red lip trend. The color is buildable, so it can be sheer or layered to be a bolder shade.

Gressa Lip Boost Aux Rouge

I was surprised at how pigmented Aux Rouge was. What you are seeing above is a single, quick coat. It’s a really pretty color and I will definitely be using it often.

The formula of all three shades of Lip Boost is so creamy and hydrating. No matter your lip color preference, I would list these as an absolute must-have item in any beauty collection. I am addicted to all three shades and use them nearly daily. Gressa Lip Boosts are cruelty free, vegan, and made from mostly organic ingredients.
