Cover FX Total Cover Cream Foundation Demo #FoundationFriday
This week’s cruelty-free Foundation Friday video is on the Cover FX Total Cover Cream Foundation. This cruelty-free and vegan foundation is made for normal to dry skin types, contains SPF, and comes in over 40 shades. One of my other favorite foundations is the Cover FX Natural Finish Foundation, so I really wanted to give this cream compact foundation a try. In this video, I show how it applies with a foundation brush and a beauty sponge, then how it wears throughout the day.
Claims: “An antioxidant-rich cream foundation and concealer in one that provides radiant, full coverage.Available in 40 global shades, this cream foundation contains 32% pigment for longwearing full coverage. Loaded with emollients and anti-oxidants such as vitamin E and vitamin C, this foundation helps protects the skin against free radicals while providing a radiant, second-skin finish. The creamy, ultra-blendable texture has also made this foundation a cult favorite for contouring.”
Ingredients: Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Diisostearyl Malate, Polyglyceryl-2 Triisostearate, Silica, Synthetic Beeswax, Hydrogenated Polyisobutene, Copernicia Cerifera (Carnauba) Wax (Cera Carnauba, Cire de carnauba), Squalane, Neopentyl Glycol Dicaprate, Triacontanyl PVP, C12-15 Alkyl Benzoate, Dehydroacetic Acid, Tocopherol, Tribehenin, Tetrahexyldecyl Ascorbate, Bisabolol, Phytosphingosine, Ethyl Linoleate, Ethyl Linolenate, Ceramide NG, PEG-10 Phytosterol, Ethyl Oleate, Palmitoyl Hexapeptide-12, Triethoxycaprylylsilane (+/-) Titanium Dioxide (CI 77891), Iron Oxides (CI 77491, CI 77492, CI 77499), Chromium Oxide Greens (CI 77288)
Pros: Very pigmented and full coverage. Creamy formula. Blendable. Best suited for normal and dry skin. Comes in over 40 shades. Cruelty-free brand. Vegan foundation formula.
Cons: This isn’t necessarily a con, but based on the wear I experienced, I am not sure how this foundation would hold up in a humid environment.

It’s so versatile and you could even pick up several shades to use as not just foundation and concealer, but also to easily highlight and contour. I was really happy with how other products laid on top of the Cover FX Total Cover Cream Foundation and with how it wore throughout the day. This is a great foundation and I highly suggest that anyone with dry skin give it a try.
