I have been using the Cover FX Calming Primer in a lot of Get Ready With Me videos lately and realized that I had never posted a full review of this product. I have had a really hard time finding a primer that I really love and use often. I want one that does more than just help my makeup apply smoothly. I want one with some skincare benefits as well. I had been hearing great things about Cover FX from Phyrra for a long time, and finally decided to pick up this primer.

Pros: Very smooth formula. Fills in pores and fine lines. Soothing and reduces redness. Prolongs the wear of makeup. Made for sensitive skin. Paraben-free. Gluten free. Cruelty free brand. Vegan formula.
Cons: May not work well on oily skin.
The Verdict: The Cover FX Calming Primer is one of my favorite primers. It goes on so smoothly and really evens out the texture of my skin. I do find that when I use this primer daily, my skin tone looks more even and there is definitely less redness. I don’t suffer from rosacea or any condition that would cause extreme redness, but knowing that this primer is specially formulated for sensitive skin with those conditions makes me confident that it will work wonders on any complexion. When I use the Cover FX Calming Primer, my makeup goes on very smoothly and wears very well throughout the day.
