ColourPop Not a Box of Chocolates Review
I am what you may call an eyeshadow junkie. If I see a shade that looks pretty, I simply need to have it. When I first saw swatches of the ColourPop Not a Box of Chocolates set, it immediately fell into the “must have” category for me. This limited-edition set contains six limited-edition Super Shock Shadows. Watch the ColourPop Not a Box of Chocolates Swatches Video to see my first impressions of this set and swatches of each color.
ColourPop shadows are very unique and very different from most brands out there. Their formula isn’t a powder, but it isn’t a cream either. It feels like a hybrid of the two. This makes for an incredibly pigmented and smooth formula. It is also very blendable, so it can be as concentrated or as blended out as you want.

Please note that ColourPop currently includes the same +/- ingredient listing for all of their products. This +/- list contains “carmine” as an ingredient. I have discussed this with ColourPop and they have confirmed that the only ColourPop products that contain carmine are a couple of Super Shock Shadows and Blushes. The following Super Shock Shadows are not vegan – Tea Party, Bae, Mittens, Lace, and Bubbly. The following Super Shock Cheek shades are not vegan – Thumper, Birthday Suit, Fox. All other products are vegan! They also keep an updated list of vegan options on their FAQ page.
Pros: Incredibly pigmented shades. Very smooth and creamy formula. Great mix of finishes and shades in this set. Very blendable colors. Cruelty free brand. Vegan formulas.
Cons: This is not necessarily a con, but the application of ColourPop shadows can be a tricky because they are such a unique formula. It just takes getting used to.
Included in this set are the six eye shadow shades. Each is created using ColourPop’s unique and one-of-a-kind formula! All six of the shades included in the ColourPop Not a Box of Chocolates set are limited-edition.

Overall, I really love the ColourPop Not A Box of Chocolates set. Each shade is so pretty! With the six shades that are included in this set, you can make a variety of looks. They also work really well with other shadows. Because this is a limited-edition set that contains only limited-edition shades, I strongly suggest picking it up. The colors are just so pretty and so unique. I think that anyone, no matter their style, will get a lot of use out of the ColourPop Not A Box of Chocolates set.
