Barry M Flawless Light Reflecting Concealer Review

A while back I placed a Barry M order because they are a very popular and easy to find drugstore brand in the UK.Barry M is cruelty-free, and I really wanted to try some of their vegan products. I’ve heard a lot about them over the years but because they are not sold in stores here in the US, had never given them a try before. On their website, the vegan products are labeled, which is super helpful. The Barry M Flawless Light Reflecting Concealer caught my eye as I’m a bit of a concealer junkie and love trying new options.

Claims: “Flawless Light Reflecting Concealer covers imperfections without caking. Infused with cucumber and aloe extracts to sooth and revitalise the skin, it’s the perfect on-the-spot treatment for tired eyes.”

Pros: Very lightweight concealer. Easy to apply. Brightens under eye circles. Cruelty-free brand. Vegan formula.

Cons: The brush applicator is great for application, but not for blending. Limited shade range.

The Verdict: The Barry M Flawless Light Reflecting Concealer is a great drugstore concealer option. This lightweight formula offers light coverage and is a decent option for helping to cover dark circles. If you are looking for full coverage, you can build up the coverage by adding more product. Or, use this as a brightener and blend with another concealer to add more coverage. Used alone, it does more to brighten than it does to provide coverage. I found the brush to be great to use to apply the product where I wanted, but less than ideal for blending.

I found that the Barry M Flawless Light Reflecting Concealer worked best when set with powder and did a great job of staying in place all day with minimal creasing. It did help to brighten my undereye area but I doesn’t have the coverage that I am used to. I do also wish that it came in a larger shade range. While this won’t replace my everyday concealer, I do think it’s a great option to try out. Especially for those looking for a vegan drugstore option for an under eye brightener.
