Ayushi Skin Care Review
When it comes to skin care, for a long time I have felt that the simpler the routine the better. I spent so many years growing up using chemical-laden products that only made the condition of my skin worse. As an adult, I try to use as many natural skin care products as I can. Recently, I was introduced to a unique skin care line called Ayushi.
Ayushi skin care believes in bringing the practices of Ayurveda into your skin care routine. This means that all of their products are organic, GMO-free, cruelty free, vegan and contain nutrient-dense ingredients influenced by the scriptures of Ayurveda. All of the ingredients used in their products are sourced from the tropical rain forests of Kerala, India. Ayushi products are much more than just skin care – they are part of a belief that all things are connected. As a brand, Ayushi is very committed to producing products that are free of harm to animals, support organic farmers and support a healthy ecosystem.
I received four products from Ayushi to try and review – Juniper Fresh Organic Face Wash, Rose Garden Organic Face Wash, Facial Glow Organic Lotion, and Lavender Hue Moisturizing Lotion. I could not wait to try each one and see how they worked on their own and as a combined skin care routine. Read more to hear my thoughts about each product and the line as a whole.

The first face wash that I tried out was the Juniper Fresh Organic Face Wash. This face wash is described as an “invigorating moisture-rich wash that nourishes your face with a clean, fresh scent.” The juniper oil is very refreshing. This is a perfect “wake me up” morning face wash! The chamomile oil is a great balance to the juniper oil. It also contains neem oil, coconut oil, and jojoba oil. All of which are said to help prevent signs of aging.
The Juniper Fresh Organic Face Wash was a very gentle but effective cleanser. My skin felt very clean, but also really balanced after use. It is gentle enough for daily use and washes away both dirt and makeup. I can see this being a great option for any skin type.
The next face wash from Ayushi that I tried was the Rose Garden Organic Face Wash. This face wash contains a mix of ingredients that help treat acne and reduce redness and inflammation in skin while moisturizing skin at the same time. It is still a really gentle face wash thanks to the blend of coconut oil and essential oils.
My skin did not feel dry or stripped of natural oils after using this face wash. The Rose Garden Organic Face Wash is a great option for those who are prone to breakouts but want to use a gentle product to treat their skin problems.
After using either face wash, I applied the Facial Glow Organic Lotion from Ayushi. This moisturizer is made to perfectly compliment the other Ayushi skin care products. While the face washes cleanse and tone your skin to unclog your pores and remove makeup, this moisturizer is full of nourishing vitamins, oils, and antioxidants. The mix of sweet almond oil, cocoa butter, rose water, and raspberry oil makes this moisturizer full of Vitamins E, B1, B2, B3, and Vitamin C.
This moisturizer felt so light when I applied it and absorbed really quickly. Yet it provided continuous moisture for hours. I would apply it in the night, and my skin felt so soft and supple in the morning. It’s a great treatment to use at night because of the vitamins and antioxidants included in the ingredients. Letting them work their magic on your skin while you sleep means waking up well rested to hydrated, smooth, and glowing skin. The Facial Glow Organic Lotion is a great option for all skin types.
After how soft the facial lotion made my skin, I couldn’t wait to see how the body lotion worked! I tried the Lavender Hue Moisturizing Lotion. This light but hydrating lotion contains shea butter, almond oil, olive oil, coconut milk, and essential oils. This creates a lotion that is effective as a moisturizer but also high in Vitamins A, E, and F. The shea butter in this lotion is said to enhance cell regeneration, aid in capillary circulation, and improve skin elasticity and tone.
With summer right around the corner, it seemed like a great time to put this lotion to the test! This lotion absorbed quickly and left my skin feeling soft and moisturized. With the combination of oils, I was worried it may feel a bit greasy but this was not the case at all. This is a really effective body lotion. It definitely helps to keep my skin super moisturized and soft, so I can see how, with long-term use, it may also help with elasticity and tone.
Thank you again to Ayushi for letting me try out their unique line of products. If you are looking for natural and gentle but effective skin care products, this is definitely a line worth looking into. I really appreciate their ethical stance behind sourcing their ingredients as well. I find that very admirable and worth supporting. After using these Ayushi skin care items, I feel that their products would work well for all skin types and all skin needs.
