One skincare product that I love to try, but am also super picky about, are eye creams. So many out there just don’t do enough to be worth it for me. So many just feel like a regular moisturizer in a smaller, and usually more expensive, package. I am a firm believer in preventative skincare and think that having your bases covered with your anti-aging skin care routine is so important to do sooner than later. Because of this, I expect a lot from products that make claims as big as the 100% Pure Super Fruits Eye Balm does. I picked this balm up in July but have only recently started using it regularly because I was using up another eye cream first.
Claims: “Super fruits collection is a blend of the most powerfully anti-aging fruits from around the world with the highest ORAC value of antioxidants for aggressive age corrective treatment for your skin. Rich and buttery eye cream deeply nourishes your sensitive eye area and works to drastically lessen the appearance of lines and wrinkles, increase firmness and soften skin.”
Ingredients: Persea Gratissima (Avocado) Butter, Butyrospermum Parkii Fruit (Shea Butter), Punica Granatum (Pomegranate) Seed Oil, Euterpe Oleracea Pulp (Acai) Oil, Tocopherol (Vitamin E), Extracts of Coffea Arabica (Coffee Cherry) Leaf/Seed, Aristotelia Chilensis (Maqui Berry), Punica Granatum (Pomegranate), Lycium Barbarum Fruit (Goji Berry), Euterpe Oleracea Fruit (Acai Berry), Malpighia Punicifolia Fruit (Acerola), Sambucus Canadensis (Elderberry), Vitis Vinifera (Muscadine Grape) Skin and Garcinia Mangosteen Peel (Mangosteen), Sodium Ascorbate (Vitamin C), Retinyl Palmitate (Vitamin A)
Pros: Very hydrating. Smooth and creamy formula. Non-greasy. Leaves skin super soft.
Cons: This isn’t really a con, but I am unsure if this eye balm would be too much for oily skin.
Is 100% Pure cruelty-free? Yes. 100% Pure is cruelty-free with vegan options.
Is the 100% Pure Super Fruits Eye Balm vegan? Yes.
The Verdict: The 100% Pure Super Fruits Eye Balm is now a regular part of my morning and night time skin care routine. This balm is so incredibly hydrating and nourishing.Because I have combination skin that leans towards dry, I am unsure if this balm would be too heavy for oily skin. I think that you could likely just use a little less product and be okay though. Even after the first use, I saw an immediate improvement in how my skin felt. It was much softer and more hydrated than before. Since using this eye balm, I also have fewer issues with my undereye concealer creasing or caking during the day.
Not only is my skin softer, but appearance wise it looks better. I don’t have a lot in the way of fine lines but I do feel that this eye balm has visibly changed the appearance of my under eyes in a way that no other eye cream has before. It works great alone, but I do love to mix it with other eye creams sometimes for dual benefits.
Have you tried the 100% Pure Super Fruits Eye Balm before? What did you think of it?
