Tone It Up Bombshell Spell – The Vegan Version

Tone It Up Bombshell Spell - The Vegan Version   One hot fitness trend this summer that has a lot of buzz is Tone It Up. Personal trainers Karena and Katrina created the series. It includes free workouts (which are amazing!) and even a paid section with nutrition plans, protein powder you can purchase and more. In short, it makes having a variety of fun workouts and healthy recipes available to anyone and everyone. They even have a nutrition plan that is geared specifically towards vegans! A Tone It Up recipe that I kept hearing a lot about was the Bombshell Spell. However, I couldn’t find the recipe in the free version. After some digging on Google I finally found it! And… It had honey. It’s a simple recipe to modify so I decided to do just that and create a vegan Bombshell Spell for everyone to enjoy! What you need –

  • 1 tbsp. raw unfiltered apple cider vinegar
  • 1/2 cup fresh pineapple juice
  • 1 tbsp. fresh lime juice
  • 1 tbsp. agave

Mix all the ingredients together, stir well, and enjoy! The sweetness of the agave balances out the apple cider vinegar completely, but use less if you like.

Pineapple juice is said to have anti-inflammatory properties, aid in digestion, help with kidney health and are packed with vitamins and antioxidants. With lots of B Vitamins, pineapple is a natural energy booster. Raw apple cider vinegar has high levels of potassium and calcium. It’s said to help with digestion, detoxification and may help regulate blood pressure and cholesterol.

  1. Do you drink it hot or cold? Does it matter?

    1. I drink it cold. I’ve never tried it hot, but am not sure it would taste at all the same.

  2. How often do you drink it? Thanks you sharing!!

    1. You should drink it each morning for the biggest impact. 🙂

How many days should I drink this for? And should I drink it on an empty stomach? Could I use raw honey instead of agave?

        1. Drink it everyday! 🙂 You can definitely have it on an empty stomach. And while you could use honey (the original recipe uses honey), it would no longer be vegan if you did.

  3. Sounds very refreshing and delicious. I am definitely going to try it!

  4. OOOOOOH! This looks like it would clean your insides up, and be tasty at the same time.
