Nonie of Beverly Hills Skin Care Review

Nonie of Beverly Hills Skin Care Review

While trying new skin care is nothing new to me, trying a skin care line with alpha hydroxy acids is. Recently Nonie of Beverly Hills sent me several products from their AHA! line to try out – a cleanser, a skin tonic, and a moisturizer. All of their products are cruelty free, vegan, preservative-free,  and made from natural ingredients. Their line also extends into body lotions, shaving creams, and even sunscreen. Nonie of Beverly Hills was founded by Nonie when she was 66. Her skin looked fresh and youthful thanks to her own skin care products that she had been making, and she realized that there were few products on the market that offered the benefits of alpha hydroxy acids in a natural formula. Now owned by Mendel Duchman, this skin care line holds true to the original values and beliefs in effective and natural skin care.

Part of what makes None of Beverly Hills a unique brand is the use of alpha hydroxy acids (AHA’s) in their products. AHA’s have been suggested for years to help speed up the renewal of your skin cells. This leaves your skin looking fresh, youthful, and can help to minimize the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Unfortunately most AHA’s come from chemicals or animal sources. None of Beverly Hills found a way to capture the power of AHA’s in a completely natural and vegan formula. To learn more about the benefits of using skin care with AHA’s, None of Beverly Hills has a full page on their site that details the benefits.

Nonie of Beverly Hills Skin Care Review

The Nonie of Beverly Hills Skin Cleanser is made to work with all skin types. This cleanser is really unique because of its cream formula. Instead of washing your face like you normally would with a cleanser and liquid, you apply this cleanser onto cotton pads and gently rub it over your skin to cleanse. It works well to remove makeup, even stubborn waterproof formulas, as well as just the daily dirt that ends up on your skin throughout the day. This cleanser is very gentle but effective and has a fresh citrus scent.

The Skin Cleanser did a great job at removing my makeup and leaving my skin completely clean but still moisturized and soft. I was amazed at how well it removed my makeup and how gentle but effective the formula is.

The Nonie of Beverly Hills Skin Tonic is also meant for all skin types. This skin tonic is used after the skin cleanser to help remove any extra makeup and to prep your skin for a moisturizer. It also helps to close and tighten pores. This skin tonic can also be used as an aftershave.

I felt that this skin tonic did a great job of grabbing any extra makeup that the cleanser missed and prepping my skin for moisturizer. It is very gentle and did not make my skin feel tight or tingly like some other toners have.

The Nonie of Beverly Hills Brilliant Moisturizer is formulated for normal and combination skin types. Containing Vitamins E, B, C, and E, this moisturizer is said to minimize fine lines while leaving skin soft and moisturized. Like the other products in the AHA line, this contains a mix of plant-based alpha hydroxy acids that are meant to balance out your skin tone and leave you with smoother, younger looking skin.

This moisturizer was really lovely to use. It wasn’t at all heavy but is the perfect everyday moisturizer. It absorbed quickly into my skin and left it feeling hydrated and smooth.

I was really impressed with all of the Nonie of Beverly Hills skin care products that I tried. Finding vegan alpha hydroxy acid products can be a hard task, and I love that Nonie of Beverly Hills fills this niche while also using completely natural ingredients. All of the products were very gentle, but really lived up to their claims. I felt that the appearance of my skin improved while using the None of Beverly Hills skin care products. If you are looking to get the benefits of alpha hydroxy acids in your skin care products, these are great products to try.

  1. hi, i just read your review of the nonie of beverly hills products. I am nonie’s daughter judy and i will be 65 in Novemeber and proud to say i don’t look it! I’m pleased at your review……you totally get it! We rsearched a lot in making these products and did a lot of testing on friendly guinea pigs of all ages and sexes! One thing that is great about all of the products is they are safe for kids to literally eat and pour in their eyes! One other thing that drew me to your site was the name Logical Harmony. Nonie’s mother’s name was Harmony and so is my oldest daughter. Thanks, Judy

  2. Both the face and the body moisturizers have a pleasant natural fragrance–like fresh lemons. I also very much appreciate that these come in a glass container, not plastic! Have not used long enough to assess its effectiveness, but I will continue to buy these.
