Today I’m sharing my morning routine with you focusing on the ways that I incorporate self-care into my morning through my beauty routine. A morning self-care routine doesn’t need to be complicated or take up a lot of time. There are small things that you can do that can make a big difference in how you feel mentally and physically.
I think that taking time for ourselves each day is incredibly important, and so is making sure that you get a good start to your day. When I have this time to focus on my health it helps so much throughout the day and I notice a big difference when I don’t make the time for it. HUM has been a big part of my morning routine for a couple of years now and I’m very excited that they are sponsoring this post.
Sometimes it’s hard to make that time, but sticking to things like my morning skincare routine are an easy way to get that time in. Some people rush in the morning with their skincare but I think it’s the perfect amount of “me” time, even if the rest of your morning is super busy. The current cruelty-free products in my morning skincare routine are:
- 100% Pure Coconut Oil Cleansing Milk
- 100% Pure Restorative Sea Culture Hydrating Toner
- KYPRIS Antioxidant Dew
- 100% Pure Hydra Drench Cream
- 100% Pure Super Fruit Oil Nourishing Eye Cream
- OSEA Sea Vitamin Boost
- KYPRIS Pot of Shade
- Delectable Everything Balm
For me, starting the day with something light like a smoothie is perfect. It helps me start the day off right and get some extra greens into my diet as well. For the past couple of years, I’ve been using the HUM Raw Beauty Green Superfood Powder in my smoothies and I love how it tastes. I prefer the Vanilla and Berry flavor personally because it mixes so well with any fruit and greens. Lately, I’ve been making the HUM Berry Smoothie Recipe from the HUM website and am totally hooked. I love having the peanut butter in the smoothie for some extra flavor!
I take some of my supplements in the morning and some others at night. In the morning, I take HUM Daily Cleanse, HUM Gut Instinct, and HUM Killer Nails. These three have made such a big impact on my hair, skin, and my body in general. Gut Instinct is a gentle vegan pro-biotic. Daily Cleanse really helps keep my skin clear. Killer Nails is vegan biotin and I’ve noticed a big difference in the rate of growth and health of my hair and nails since I started taking it.
