My Morning Self Love & Self Care Routine

Today I’m sharing my morning routine with you focusing on the ways that I incorporate self-care into my morning through my beauty routine. A morning self-care routine doesn’t need to be complicated or take up a lot of time. There are small things that you can do that can make a big difference in how you feel mentally and physically.

I think that taking time for ourselves each day is incredibly important, and so is making sure that you get a good start to your day. When I have this time to focus on my health it helps so much throughout the day and I notice a big difference when I don’t make the time for it. I like to have a bit of a slow start to the day as often as I can. Just having some time to myself to reflect on things in my life and what my plans are for the day makes such a big difference. There are small things that help me start the day off right. A good cup of coffee is one of them. Skincare is another. Making sure I get some breakfast is also really important.

Sometimes it’s hard to make that time, but sticking to things like my morning skincare routine are an easy way to get that time in. Some people rush in the morning with their skincare but I think it’s the perfect amount of “me” time, even if the rest of your morning is super busy. For me, starting the day with something light like a smoothie is perfect. It helps me start the day off right and get some extra greens into my diet as well. For the past couple of years, I’ve been using the HUM Raw Beauty Green Superfood Powder in my smoothies and I love how it tastes. I take some of my supplements in the morning and some others at night.
