MUN No.1 Aknari Nighttime Dream Youth Serum Review

Serums are one of my favorite skin care items to try. When they work well, the results can be amazing. When they don’t work so well, it usually just leaves me with soft skin. I received a sample of the MUN No.1 Aknari Nighttime Dream Youth Serum in the June Petit Vour beauty box.
Claims: “Every night, it gradually helps to diminish the look of wrinkles and fine lines. Every day, your complexion is more even-toned in appearance, glowing with the radiance and vitality of youth.”
Ingredients: Opuntia ficus-indica (prickly pear) seed oil, argania spinosa kernel (argan) oil, rose damascena flower (rose) oil
Pros: Cruelty free and vegan. Two of the three oils included are Ecocert Organic certified. Smells great – natural and not strong. Absorbs quickly. Non-greasy feel.
Cons: None.
The Verdict: I have to admit that, at first, I was a bit skeptical of this serum. The ingredients are just so simple! It’s three oils combined. My thinking was that if it was a powerful combination, these three would have likely already been combined time and time again. The sample size that I used was 0.03 fluid ounces and was enough for night time use for one week. From the first use on I noticed that my skin felt a lot softer. After a couple of days, I could visibly see a difference in my skin. It looked brighter and healthier.
This serum is currently available to purchase online from Petit Vour. It’s a great serum and it worked very well. I would definitely recommend this product to others.

Can you recommend a perfume that would wrap the scent of Mun in a bottle?
Hi Brittany!
I’m actually not sure of one… Some great vegan perfume companies are Harvey Prince and Silk Naturals. They may have something that smells just as good!
Thank you, Tashina! I just ordered some from Harvey Prince. I do not think the ones I ordered were anything like Mun, but they do sound delicious. They were also on sale. If I like those ones, I will have to think about ordering others.
i noticed my skin getting brighter, too, after using this product. i applied too much the first night (about half the bottle!), though, so the scent was extremely strong. but, that was totally my fault. bummer that it’s not available online!
Hi Caitlin,
I was wrong – it IS available online! 🙂
