Milani Prime Shield Mattifying + Pore-Minimizing Face Primer Review
Recently Milani sent me two of their brand new primers to try out. As I talked about in my review of the Milani Prime Perfection Hydrating Primer, drugstore primers have been very hit or miss for me. I really enjoyed that primer and couldn’t wait to give the Milani Prime Shield Mattifying + Pore-Minimizing Face Primer a try.

Ingredients: Dimethicone, Disiloxane, Isononyl Isononanoate, Dimethicone Crosspolymer, HDI/Trimethylol Hexyllactone Crosspolymer, Silica, Phenoxyethanol, Ethylhexyl Palmitate, Ethylhexylglycerin, Silica Dimethyl Silylate, Butylene Glycol, Caprylyl Glycol, Sodium Hyaluronate, Hexylene Glycol.
Pros: Very smooth formula. Makeup applied smoothly and wore well throughout the day. Makeup stayed very matte throughout the day. Minimized appearance of pores. Cruelty free brand. Vegan formula.
Cons: None.
The Verdict: The Milani Prime Shield Mattifying + Pore-Minimizing Face Primer was really impressive. I am not usually a fan of mattifying primers because they can be very drying on my skin. This primer wasn’t at all drying. It left my makeup matte, but not cakey at all in the way that other mattifying primers can. I felt that my makeup applied very smoothly over this primer and lasted well. For days when I do want a matte finish, this is what I will likely continue to reach for.

Hello,
Do you have a list of vegan products from Milani as that page on their website is not up yet.
Thank you
I do not. I have been trying to get one, but have been unable to get a definite response on a lot of their products. I may put together one anyway even if it’s not complete though. Would that still be helpful?
