Is EOS cruelty-free? Find out now with this update for 2021!

When it comes to drugstore skincare and beauty, EOS is one of the easiest to find options out there. For a long time, EOS was not considered to be a cruelty-free brand. Has that changed?

Is EOS cruelty-free? Yes! EOS is now cruelty-free!

I am very excited to announce that EOS is cruelty-free! EOS now meets all the criteria to be a Logical Harmony Approved cruelty-free brand. There is no animal testing occurring anywhere on their products. They are not selling in any markets that require animal testing, and they do not sell in retail stores in China. EOS is also Leaping Bunny Approved and includes this logo on their website and product packaging.

Are EOS products sold in China? No.

EOS products are not sold in stores in mainland China.

Does EOS test on animals when required by law? No.

No. EOS does not test on animals when required by law.  Nor do they pay for any required by law animal testing to occur on their products. EOS does not sell in any markets that require animal testing. In the past EOS stated that they did test on animals when required by law and thankfully this is no longer the case.

Who owns EOS?

EOS is an independently owned company.

Is EOS Vegan? No, but there are some vegan options from EOS.

EOS is not a vegan brand, but they do have vegan options. According to EOS, beeswax is the only animal or animal-derived ingredient used in their products. Beeswax can be found in most of their lip products. Hopefully this changes one day and more vegan options will be available.
