Charlotte Tilbury Vegan Product List

Looking for a list of Charlotte Tilbury vegan product? This guide has you covered! Logical Harmony helps make cruelty-free easy!

Charlotte Tilbury is known for its high-end, luxurious, and high-quality products. They can be found in Sephora, Nordstrom, Beautylish, and lots of other beauty department stores. Charlotte Tilbury is not well known in the cruelty-free beauty community. A lot of people are surprised when they found out that not only is Charlotte Tilbury cruelty-free but that there are a lot of Charlotte Tilbury vegan products as well.

Many readers of Logical Harmony have requested a list of the Charlotte Tilbury vegan options. I talked to Charlotte Tilbury Beauty about the ingredients they use and worked with them to create this list of the Charlotte Tilbury vegan products. When this post was first published back in 2015, they didn’t label the vegan options. Since that time, the brand has realized how important it is to their customer base and product pages now note if a product is vegan-friendly or not. It’s amazing to see those changes implemented to make vegan beauty easier for everyone!

Some of the best-selling Charlotte Tilbury vegan products are:

This is the most recent update of a post I originally published on September 15, 2015. It was last updated on March 12, 2020.

Is Charlotte Tilbury cruelty-free? Yes! Charlotte Tilbury is cruelty-free.

Charlotte Tilbury is a cruelty-free brand based on the Logical Harmony criteria for determining if a brand is Logical Harmony approved. There is no animal testing being done on Charlotte Tilbury products at any point or on any ingredients used to make Charlotte Tilbury products.

In 2020 there have been some rumors about Charlotte Tilbury selling in mainland China and no longer being cruelty-free due to the required by law animal testing policies there. There is an in-depth post that you can find here. To summarize, Charlotte Tilbury products are available via direct to consumer e-commerce only. This method of sales does not require animal testing.

Are there any Charlotte Tilbury vegan products? Yes!

Not only is Charlotte Tilbury cruelty-free, but there are lots of vegan products available too.

Where can you find Charlotte Tilbury vegan products?

Charlotte Tilbury can be found on their own website, Sephora, Nordstrom, Beautylish, Cult Beauty, Net-a-Porter, and more.

What are your favorite Charlotte Tilbury vegan products?

The current Charlotte Tilbury vegan products are:

Charlotte Tilbury Vegan Skincare:

  • Goddess Cleansing Ritual Duo
  • Goddess Skin Clay Mask
  • Instant Magic Facial Dry Sheet Mask (This mask does not contain carmine, and is vegan, but is made on shared equipment with other products that contain carmine. Charlotte Tilbury has confirmed that it is vegan. They listed carmine on the ingredient list because it is an allergen and trace amounts may be on the mask.)
  • Overnight Bronze & Glow Mask – Light to Medium
  • Take It All Off Genius Eye Makeup Remover

For some products where not all shades are vegan, such as the lipsticks, a shared ingredient list is used on the product packaging and online description. Carmine or other ingredients may appear listed after “+/-” or “may contain”. This means that some shades contain those ingredients, but not all shades in the line do. The shades listed above are all vegan and free of any animal ingredients.

Charlotte Tilbury is a wonderful cruelty-free brand and I love that they have so many vegan options available! My personal favorite Charlotte Tilbury vegan products are the Film Star Bronze & Glow in Light to Medium and the Hot Lips Matte Lipstick in Kim KW.

Thanks so much for this fantastic list, Tashina, and for all the work you put into this website! I absolutely adore Charlotte Tilbury’s products, and I love that they help show consumers that cosmetics can be cruelty free, vegan, high performing, and luxurious! Many of my favorites are on the vegan list you posted for us. I very much appreciate that your info is always up to date, and you report about a wide variety of products, from drugstore to high end. The new website looks great, too! πŸ™‚

Hi, I’ve noticed that some of the lip stick ingredients, for example: sexy sienna, contain Carmine.
I’m not sure that Carmine is vegan.

Thankfully they don’t actually contain carmine. It is listed under β€œMay Contain” because some shades of the lipsticks do contain carmine and they use the same ingredient list for all shades.

I use the definition that cruelty-free means no animal testing. Since they don’t take part in animal testing, Charlotte Tilbury is cruelty-free. I don’t use animal hair brushes, lashes, etc myself but I consider it to fall under a different blanket than animal testing.

If a lipstick isn’t listed here and has ‘may contain carmine’ on it, then is it likely that it does contain carmine? I’ve just purchased Very Victoria and I’m unsure now about whether it’s vegan.

Sadly, yes. They use the same ingredient listing for all shades of the same product. So if it’s not listed here, it likely does contain carmine.

It is confusing that Carmine is listed on the product page for each shade as I’m sure CT get lots of email asking about Vegan products…hopefully they will update it with the ones that don’t.
