Lulu Blossom Dreamsicle Body Balm Review

[maxbutton id=”1″]Lulu Blossom Dreamsicle Body Balm Review

Taking good care of my skin is a big priority and part of this means keeping it well moisturized at all times. I love lotions and body balms that I can toss in my purse and take with me. When Lulu Blossom sent me their Dreamsicle Body Balm to review, I really excited to try it. I love a good body balm!

Claims:Dreamsicle Body Balm is a deep moisturizing balm that can be used just about anywhere on the body. It’s rich and creamy with nourishing Shea butter making it great for cuticles, cracked hands, feet, and elbows. It can also be used as a hair pomade or just for those frizzy fly aways.

Ingredients:  Euphorbia Careifera (Candellila) Wax, Butyrosperosperum Parki (Shea Butter), Vitis Vinifera (Grape) Seed Oil, Fragrance

Pros: Cruelty free and vegan formula. Travel size, re-sealable packaging. Goes on smoothly. Moisturizes well. Smells delicious!

Cons: This body balm is a firmer formula than most, which may not be ideal for all users.

The Verdict: I liked this body balm. It smells so good!! The scent is spot on for a creamsicle and it really brings me back to childhood (and makes me a bit hungry). The formula is a bit more firm than I generally like. This makes it a bit harder to get out of the packaging. That being said, I think the formula helps it to do a better job of moisturizing. The Dreamsicle Body Balm kept my skin moisturized and smooth for hours after application. I would recommend the Dreamsicle Body Balm to anyone who is already a fan of body balms or anyone looking for a great, multi-purpose balm to carry with them in their purse.

Lulu Blossom Bombs Away Bath Bomb Powder Review

[maxbutton id=”1″]Lulu Blossom Bombs Away Bath Bomb Powder Review

Bath bombs are one of my great indulgences. There is just something so relaxing about a good soak with ingredients in the tub that are beneficial to your skin and can make the process even more relaxing. When Lulu Blossom sent me their Bombs Away Bath Bomb Powder to review, I was really curious to try it out. I have used  a lot of bath bombs, but never a bath bomb powder before.  Lulu Blossom is a cruelty free line with a lot of vegan options.

Claims:Bath Bomb Powder is a treat every man, woman, and child should experience. It smells of Rustic Amber and bold Parisian Lavender combined with Black Myrrh, Tonka Beans , and a hint of Egyptian Musk. It nourishes the skin and is just plain fun for the tub.

Ingredients:  Sodium Bicarbonate, Citric Acid, Sodium Chloride (sea salt), Fragrance, Mica

Pros: Cruelty free and vegan formula. Sulfate-free. Very soothing formula. Light and relaxing scent. Light color. Dissolves completely in the water. Comes with a scoop for easy use. Easy to close and store container.

Cons: Because it’s baking soda based, this formula may be a little drying for some skin types. That being said, it’s nothing a good moisturizer won’t fix!

The Verdict: I really enjoyed this bath bomb powder! It had all the perks of other bath bombs, without any of the mess that they sometimes come with. The scent was really soothing and relaxing, but not at all overpowering. I used the Bombs Away Bath Bomb Powder in hopes that it would help soothe my sore muscles after a hard workout day and it definitely did the trick. I would suggest this product to other bath addicts as it’s a great addition to any soak in the tub.
