When it comes to perfume, many people are surprised to find out that most mainstream perfume brands are not cruelty-free. Is finding cruelty-free perfume tough? Not at all! There are so many amazing cruelty-free perfume brands. Many people assume that it is hard to find cruelty free and vegan perfume, but it is actually a lot easier than you may think. In the past, picking out a cruelty-free perfume or a vegan perfume often meant that you were headed to your local health food store. But did you know that even stores like Sephora carry cruelty-free perfume brands?
You can find these cruelty-free perfumes in classic spray bottles, solid perfume, and even perfume wipes. This makes it really easy to have cruelty-free perfume at home and some that you can travel with.

I am getting SO excited about the July Beauty Box from Petit Vour! I co-curated this box and really love all of the items included in it. I can’t wait for it to start showing up on doorsteps around the globe! Over the next couple of days I will be sharing some sneak peeks on my Instagram.
The first item I shared is this gorgeous LVX shade called Lolli. It’s from the brand new summer 2014 collection and is a perfect pale pink.
One of these is the deluxe sample that you will get if you say you heard about Petit Vour through Logical Harmony. Another is something that’s in all the boxes, but several different (and all gorgeous) colors that I hand picked are going out in the boxes. The color you get is a surprise!
Have you signed up for the July Beauty Box yet?
It’s not too late to order your own July box from Petit Vour! They keep selling them even after they are shipped out. During the sign up process, there is a field that asks how you heard about Petit Vour. Be sure to enter “Logical Harmony” here.

When you are a beauty addict like I am, subscription boxes are a fun way to get introduced to new items. Petit Vour is a monthly subscription box that brings you only cruelty free and vegan items. Each box has four or more items that are either large sample size or full size.
My April Petit Vour box contained:
- Lily Lolo Pressed Mineral Eyeshadow Quad in Smoky Rose – This limited edition shadow quad is perfect for creating a natural smoky eye look. It’s talc free, but contains jojoba oil to nourish and moisturize your skin. The shades aren’t heavily pigmented, but they apply easily and blend well. I also really like the packaging, which is a high quality mirrored compact.
- Harvey Prince Yogini Fragrance – This large sample has a lovely earthy scent with notes of sandalwood, amber, incense, myrrh, grapefruit, lily of the valley, star jasmine, rose petals, ylang-ylang, cardamom, and madagascar vanilla. The scent may not be for everyone, but I personally really like it.
- Kimberly Parry Organics Creamy Cleanser Face Wash – This cleanser is a great mix of ingredients to get your skin clean without drying. It’s also high in sea minerals and vitamins to help nourish your skin.
- Jane Scrivner Intense Anti-Aging Oil – This is a “night oil” to target fine lines and wrinkles. It also works for pigmentation and scars. This oil is made from cold-pressed Rosa Mosqueta Oil. It feels heavy but absorbs quickly into the skin and does not leave your skin feeling greasy. I was not a big fan of the smell and thought it smelled a bit like walnuts. However, I would rather this natural smell than an artificial one any day.
The Petit Vour box costs $15.00 a month in the US and $23.00 a month in Canada. Starting in May, the boxes will also be available Internationally for $30.00 per month. This price includes shipping.
Overall, I liked this box. Petit Vour always contains items that I am interested in but typically do not buy on my own. I’m really excited to try each item and incorporate them into my beauty routine.
You can stay up to date with Petit Vour on Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Tumblr, and Pinterest.
