For many consumers, big stores like Sephora are one of the main places where they purchase cosmetics, skin care, and hair care. Being aware of the cruelty-free brands at Sephora can be a challenge. Sephora carries so many brands and it can be a little overwhelming to figure out which are cruelty-free and which are not.
Thankfully, this list of cruelty-free brands at Sephora will help make shopping easier for you!
I recently decided to try out the Hourglass Immaculate Liquid to Powder Foundation because I had heard such great things about this cruelty-free foundation. I have combination skin that’s on the dry side, so I went into testing it out knowing that it may not be the best formula for my skin type. In this post I share my thoughts on the foundation, and a video where I apply it and check-in throughout the day to share how it wears on my skin.
Claims: “A breakthrough liquid to powder formula that absorbs oil, camouflages imperfections, and delivers a long-lasting velvet matte finish—without the need for touch-ups. In a consumer study, Immaculate’s advanced formula has been shown to improve the appearance of oily, blemish-prone skin. Available in 16 shades.”
I recently picked up the Wander Beauty Flash Focus Foundation Stick to add to my foundation Friday video series on YouTube. I had been wanting to try the Wander Beauty Flash Focus Foundation Stick for a while but had read and watched some really mixed reviews on this foundation. Because I was still on the fence, I wanted to give it a try and see how it worked for me. In this post, I share my thoughts on the foundation, show how I applied it, and how it wore throughout the day.
Claims: “The Flash Focus Hydrating Foundation Stick glides easily onto the skin for a flawless, smooth finish. Perfect for all skin types, the buildable, lightweight formula calms redness and reduces discoloration. Portable and precise, it is easy to apply on-the-go. Versatile enough to deliver sheer, medium or full coverage that looks natural, this creamy formula can be used for spot treating imperfections or all-over coverage from day to night. Its unique complex of coconut oil, hyaluronic, and vitamins C and E deeply hydrate your skin, locking in moisture and leave a youthful-looking, perfect complexion.”
The launch of the 100% Pure Second Skin Foundation was highly anticipated by those in both the cruelty-free beauty and natural beauty spaces. It claimed to be a natural finish foundation that offered skincare benefits and buildable coverage. When it became available, I ordered it immediately to try out. In this post I not only review the foundation, but I also included a demo video where I show how it applies and how it wears over time on my skin.
Claims: “A serum foundation formulated with olive squalane, anti-aging antioxidants, pure fruit pigments and vitamins. Delivering adjustable coverage, a natural finish, and the look and feel of beautiful skin while delivering a noticeably brighter, more youthful appearance like nothing you’ve ever felt before. This skin-perfecting formula is as healthy as it is luxurious.”
A couple of times a year, Sephora has a huge sale that lets VIB and VIB Rouge members save some serious cash on their favorite beauty items. Whenever these sales happen I get a lot of readers asking me what my must-have cruelty-free beauty products sold at Sephora are. While I have already shared a list of the cruelty-free brands at Sephora (all of which have vegan options), a lot of my favorite brands happen to be sold at Sephora.
This is the perfect time to stock up on items you know you love, and a chance to try items you may have been on the fence about. To make this easier for you, I am going to split this into two lists. Items I consider to be absolute necessities and items that I consider to be nice splurges.
