Vegan Cuts December Beauty Box Review

Vegan Cuts December Beauty Box

The Vegan Cuts December Beauty Box recently arrived at my door. The November box was really awesome so I had very high hopes for this one as well. I had watched their preview video and already knew about a couple of the items that would be in the box. I was so anxious to try them out and to see what else was included!

The Vegan Cuts Beauty Box is a monthly subscription service that delivers several cruelty free and vegan items directly to your door. It can also be shipped worldwide! Prices start at $19.95 per month. It’s a great way to try new brands and new products without the commitment of buying the full-size version.

Included in the Vegan Cuts December Beauty Box that I received was:

Vegan Cuts December Beauty Box - Bellapierre Cosmetics Nail Color in Copper Brown

Bellapierre Cosmetics Nail Color in Copper Brown – Photos of this polish do not do this shade justisce. It is a unique, warm shimmery chocolate brown shade with hints of copper. It is not a shade that I would normally select for myself but I actually thought it was really pretty on. The copper shimmer just added so much depth to the color. It held up well too – I went several days without any chipping. A Vegan Cuts branded nail file was also included in this box. It was so cute and it worked really well! I have used it often since receiving this box.

Vegan Cuts December Beauty Box - Delizioso Skincare Cream Blush in Outrageous

Delizioso Skincare Cream Blush in Outrageous – When I first saw this cream blush I was a bit scared by how bright the color was! When applied, the color is much more sheer. It allows you to start with a little color and build up to add more if you like. I was surprised at how natural and pretty this color was when applied! This blush was creamy and applied very smoothly. It was easy to blend with my fingers and with a brush.

Vegan Cuts December Beauty Box - North Coast Organics All-Natural Spray Lotion

North Coast Organics All-Natural Spray Lotion – This travel size sample would be great to keep in your purse. It’s a blend of argan, rosehip, hemp, jojoba, grapeseed, pumpkin seed, and sunflower oil with lavendar, water, rosemary antioxidant, and essential oils. The formula is very hydrating. I had some issues with product separation in my tube and, as a result, the product did not always come out the same consistency or scent. That being said, it worked really well and I like the unique idea of a spray lotion.

Vegan Cuts December Beauty Box - 21 Drops Essential Oil Therapy in Focus

21 Drops Essential Oil Therapy in Focus – I always love receiving aromatherapy oils in beauty boxes. It can be a really fun way to discover new brands. Focus is a mix of jojoba oil, rosemary, peppermint, and frankincense. You apply it to your pulse points and this combination is supposed to help reduce distraction and help you focus. I really liked the scent of this oil. It’s fresh, clean, and smells completely natural. The blend of scents is really lovely and it definitely helped clear my mind. Though I’m not sure about helping with distractions, because I just wanted to keep smelling the oil on my wrists! I can see this being a great oil to try out in my oil diffuser at home during work hours to keep me on track and focused.

Vegan Cuts December Beauty Box - Becca & Mars Lavender Love Mask and Scrub

Becca & Mars Lavender Love Mask and Scrub – I really liked how simple this scrub is and I love double duty products. You can mix it with water or your favorite serum (if you want it to work double duty) and use it as either a mask or a scrub. I liked the scent. It was soothing and not too strong. As a mask, I thought this worked great with my skin. My face felt soft after using it with both water and a serum. As a scrub, I also liked this product. It wasn’t harsh at all and it left my skin feeling clean.

This beauty box included several full sized items and several deluxe samples. I really liked this box. It was a fun mix of products and I really liked the majority of them.

I really like this. Do you have a preference for the beauty boxes? This one looks like it might be worth it, but it’s hard to find the “right” one, you know?

I think that you should look at the past couple of months of each and see which, in the long run, appeals to you.

I liked the blush a lot! I got the same color nail polish you did and ended up using glitter over it to make it more to my liking.

That’s a good idea! I bet it would look very pretty with some glitter.

Ok so I’ve finally started to find some vegan nailpolishes, but here’s the real question: who makes vegan nail polish REMOVER? Once I paint my nails, I’m stuck! I either have to wait for it to all chip off or scrape it off by myself…not the most pleasant thing! If you know of any, please let me know!

I really like the wipes from ELF. Zoya makes a great remover, too!
