Recently I placed a couple of orders from Makeup Geek, so filming a Makeup Geek haul video made sense. I love that Makeup Geek is not only cruelty-free but also offers a lot of vegan options. Lately, they have been introducing a lot of new products and putting a lot of “damaged” pans on sale. It’s definitely been a great time to pick up some new Makeup Geek products. I ordered some of the new vegan lip products, some eyeshadows, and blushes to try out.
I get a lot of questions asking me what my favorite vegan supplements are and what ones I use. Because of that, I put together this video to share what vegan supplements work for me. I’ve tried a lot of different things and had mixed results from a lot of them. But I seem to have finally figured out the best combination for my body and my diet. This includes everything from the greens powder I put in my smoothies to my favorite protein powder as well as my favorite daily vegan gummy vitamins.
Fairy Girl is a cruelty-free and vegan makeup brand that has been around for a while. I have been using their traditional lipstick for some time, and was so excited when they sent me the brand new Fairy Girl liquid lipstick shades to try out! The formula is really nice. It’s light and creamy and isn’t drying. I think that the shades are all really pigmented and apply very smoothly too. I was really impressed by the formula and have been loving the shades of liquid lipstick that I received.
When it comes to my skin care routine, cruelty-free and vegan face masks are a big part of it. I love using face masks several times a week. I love that each one has it’s own purpose and that there are so many formulas to choose from. There are vegan face masks that double as a face scrub, vegan sheet masks, powder masks you can mix with water or your favorite skin serum, gel-like masks, and more traditional clay masks. I love to mix and match vegan face masks throughout the week depending on what my skin needs.
In this video, I share my favorite cruelty-free and vegan face masks. If you’ve been following me for a while, then odds are that you can guess what some of my favorite cruelty-free and vegan face masks are.
If you’re subscribed to my YouTube channel, then chances are that you already know the news – but this weekend I’ll be doing a Meet & Greet event at the 100% Pure location in Berkeley, CA! Once my blog post went live on their site, a lot of you were messaging asking what else was up my sleeve. I’m so so so SO excited about this and really hope that I can meet any of you who happen to be in the San Francisco Bay Area! 100% Pure is a cruelty-free brand that offers makeup, nail polish, skin care, and hair care. It’s all natural and a lot of 100% Pure products are also vegan.
Going to the store is also a treat because you can try so many of the products, get product suggestions from their friendly and knowledgeable staff and, at this event, say hi to me! I love the Berkeley store location. It’s in such a cute neighborhood (with an awesome tea shop across the street) and it’s fun to be able to swatch lipstick shades, color match foundations, and get a mini facial there.
