Sephora VIB Spring Sale Cruelty-Free Shopping Guide

Sephora VIB Spring Sale Cruelty-Free Shopping Guide

Shopping  the Sephora VIB Spring Sale and want to find the cruelty-free options? Logical Harmony has you covered!

There are so many cruelty-free brands at Sephora and even lots of completely vegan brands at Sephora too. It seems like people have two different strategies for shopping the sale. Some people use it as a time to stock up on all their cruelty-free favorites and staples like dry shampoo, a back-up of a favorite cruelty-free foundation, mascara, false lashes, and lip balms. Others use it as a way to try brand new, or new-to-them, products at a discount.

No matter what your method is, I do think that this is a good time to support cruelty-free brands sold at Sephora. Let Sephora know that you appreciate them carrying these specific brands because they are cruelty-free and that it matters to you as a consumer. Let them know that vegan-options matter as well.

In the past, I’ve gone back and forth between the two. When I buy only staples, I often regret not using the discount to try something new. When I buy only new-to-me products, without fail I am frustrated when I run out of dry shampoo and have to pay full price. I have to admit that I have skipped the past couple of Sephora VIB sales. There are a few things that are tempting me though. In this post, I’ll share what I consider to be must-haves and what’s on my wishlist too.

Sephora VIB Spring Sale Cruelty-Free Shopping Guide:

This guide is for the Sephora VIB Spring Sale. It’s open on different dates for different tiers of VIB members.

  • VIB Rouge members get 20% off purchases from April 17, 2020 until May 1, 2020.
  • VIB members get 15% off purchases from April 21, 2020 until April 29, 2020.
  • Beauty Insider members get 10% off purchases from April 23, 2020 until April 27, 2020.

There are a few brands that are limited or excluded from the event. The Ordinary products are excluded from the sale completely, and Dyson products are limited to one per customer. There are a few other restrictions, but they relate to brands that are not cruelty-free.

All of the brands listed below are cruelty-free and any specific products that are mentioned are also vegan.

My cruelty-free & vegan must-haves to pick up during the Sephora VIB Spring Sale:

  1. Charlotte Tilbury Hollywood Flawless Filter – This creates the prettiest lit-from-within glow to skin. It’s gorgeous. I’ve tried so many “dupes” and, honestly, nothing compares. It’s expensive but totally worth it and one bottle will last you forever.
  2. First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Cream – There are a lot of vegan options from First Aid Beauty, and thankfully this classic is one of them. This helps with any skin issue and is amazing for soothing irritations and dryness. It should be noted that they are owned by a parent company that tests on animals.
  3. IGK First Class Charcoal Detox Dry Shampoo – This is, hands down, the most effective dry shampoo I’ve used. I can easily go 5 or 6 days between washes with it, which is a big feat with my fine hair. Previously I really loved the DryBar Detox Dry Shampoo but once I tried this one, I haven’t looked back. I also really love the IGK Beach Club Texture Spray.
  4. Tarte False Lashes – All of these styles are vegan-friendly. The band is thin and flexible, making them easy to apply. Plus, they are super lightweight feeling. They are pretty affordable normally at $12 and I get several wears out of each pair, but a discount always helps. Want to find out what else is vegan-friendly from Tarte? I’ve got you covered. It should be noted that they are owned by a parent company that tests on animals.
  5. Urban Decay Naked Skin Color Correcting Fluid – This is one of many vegan-friendly Urban Decay products and it’s one I reach for all the time. I use the peach one under my eyes to help color correct. It’s really lightweight and blends out easily. Even just worn alone it looks really natural and helps me look better rested. It should be noted that they are owned by a parent company that tests on animals.

Cruelty-free & vegan products on my wishlist for the Sephora VIB Spring Sale:

  1. IGK Next Level Nordic Cotton Volumizing Mist – I have long, straight, fine hair so I need all the help I can get when it comes to volume. I’ve had great luck with the IGK products listed above and would love to see how this works. Especially since it claims to be for fine hair. IGK is also completely vegan.
  2. Kosas The Sun Show Moisturizing Baked Bronzer – I love trying new bronzers and have heard nothing but great things about this one. It looks so glowy, gorgeous, and natural in the photos where I’ve seen it used.
  3. Melt Cosmetics Rust Eyeshadow Palette – I was a huge fan of the original Rust Stack and still absolutely love a grungy, smoky eye. This palette is definitely an upgrade on the original stack and I love the additional shades that have been added in.
  4. Melt Cosmetics Smoke Sessions Eyeshadow Palette – When this first came out I was very interested in it, but figured I would become less interested over time. The shade range is really unique and, to be honest, a bit intimidating to me. I have the ELF Earth & Ocean palette (sent to me for consideration), which is similar, but have not stopped looking at this one.
  5. Milk Makeup KUSH Triple Brow Pen – Milk Makeup sent me their Kush Fiber Brow Gel and it’s amazing. Their color range is one of the best out there for brow products. This pen is super unique and looks so easy to use. Milk Makeup is also completely vegan.
