NCLA Sugar Fix Review

NCLA Sugar Fix Review

Normally I love bright and pastel polishes in the summer, but there’s also something great about shades of grey. They never go out of season or out of style. Especially when pumped up with a bit of bold color! NCLA sent me their Sweet Revenge collection to review. I’ve already tried and reviewed a few sets of their awesome nail wraps, so I was very excited to try out the new shades in the Sweet Revenge collection! The collection contains three shades – Mostly Sunny With a Chance of Sprinkles, Sugar Fix and Not So Sweet.

This shade, Sugar Fix, is light grey with fuschia and electric blue glitter.

Claims: “Our luxurious NCLA formula is high shine, quick dry and chip reisistant. Flat brush allows for a perfectly smooth application.”

Ingredients: On product packaging, not available online.

Pros: DBP free. Toluene free. Camphor free. Formaldehyde free. Goes on smoothly. Build-able, sheer color.

Cons: The color is sheer, which makes for quick drying time but may require more coats depending on your shade preference.

The Verdict: I liked this polish a lot. The color being sheer is great because you can make it as light or dark of a shade as you want. Pictured above is two coats. This also makes it great to layer with other polishes for a unique look or different color. It went on very smoothly, dried fast, and wore well. The glitter didn’t seem to impact the formula and it has the same great NCLA polish formula I have tried before.

If you’re a fan of glitter shades, this is a great neutral to pick up. It’s perfect year round!
