NCLA Not So Sweet Review

NCLA Not So Sweet Review

Pastel pinks are always a great neutral shade to have on hand. This shade can easily transition from the office to going out. Plus, it’s a great alternative to the stark white polishes that are in style this summer. NCLA sent me their Sweet Revenge collection to review. I’ve already reviewed two of the three shades in the Sweet Revenge collection, so be sure to read my reviews of Mostly Sunny With a Chance of Sprinkles and Sugar Fix.

This shade, Not So Sweet is a sweet cotton candy pink shade.

Claims: “Our luxurious NCLA formula is high shine, quick dry and chip reisistant. Flat brush allows for a perfectly smooth application.”

Ingredients: On product packaging, not available online.

Pros: DBP free. Toluene free. Camphor free. Formaldehyde free. Sheer and build-able color. Wears well. Cruelty free and vegan formula.

Cons: The formula may be too sheer for some.

The Verdict: I love love loved Not So Sweet! It was really sheer at first, which I liked. The picture above is 4 coats which create the perfect pastel pink. It wasn’t too bright or too pale – but just right. It went on very smoothly and didn’t chip for days.

Overall, I really loved this shade. Not So Sweet is a great pick for summer or anytime of the year! Shades like this one are great during the summer because they don’t show wear as quickly as others can. It’s also a great summer polish pick for those who work in offices or other places where bright and bold nail colors may not be allowed.

    1. Thanks for suggesting this brand! I haven’t looked into them before, which is why they don’t appear on the list. I’ve just sent them an inquiry and have added them to the pending brands list. Please check back in the future to see what list they are on. This will depend on how fast I hear back from them.
