Lush Rose Jam Shower Gel Review

Typical seasonal soaps are scents like apple cinnamon, pumpkin spice, and woodsy vanillas. Lush offers the complete opposite with its limited edition Rose Jam Shower Gel. This cruelty free and vegan shower gel has an amazing floral scent and promises to be super moisturizing.

Claims: “A decadent, rosy shower gel made with vanilla pod infusion, goji berry juice and nourishing argan oil, Rose Jam leaves your skin soft, hydrated and sweetly-scented.”

Ingredients: Water (Aqua), Vanilla Pod Infusion (Vanilla planifolia), Cypress Leaf Infusion (Cupressus sempervirens), Sodium Lauryl Sulfate, Sodium Cocoamphoacetate, Lauryl Betaine, Propylene Glycol, Fragrance, Goji Berry Juice (Lycium barbarum), Lactic Acid, Argan Oil (Argania spinosa), Organic Rose Absolute (Rosa Damascena), Rose Oil (Rosa damascena), Egyptian Geranium Oil (Pelargonium graveolens), Sicilian Lemon Oil (Citrus limonum), Coumarin, Citronellol, Geraniol, Limonene, D&C Red No. 33, Methylparaben

Pros: Cruelty free and vegan. Recyclable packaging available in a variety of sizes. Amazing scent! Super moisturizing formula. Lots of lather.

Cons: Limited edition!

The Verdict: I completely fell for this shower gel. It smells absolutely amazing! Especially when paired with Ro’s Argan Body Conditioner, which uses some of the same scents. The body wash lathered really well and was very moisturizing. The argan oil was a really nice touch! I even used this shower gel for a couple of bubble baths and loved how soft and sweet smelling my skin was afterwards. I wish this product was not limited edition as I would love to have it be my daily shower gel. Thankfully, my boyfriend got me the largest size available as a present!

If it was available year round, I would definitely purchase the Rose Jam Shower Gel year round. If you are able to get your hands on a bottle, consider yourself lucky as this product is selling out fast in Lush stores. You can find bottles on eBay and there are still a few on Amazon as well.
