LippyGirl Vegocentric Lipstick & Extra Virgin Lipgloss Review

LippyGirl Vegocentric Lipstick & Extra Virgin Lipgloss Review

When it comes to lipsticks, I think that variety is key. Everyone should have everyday nudes that enhance their natural lip color, bright pinks, bold oranges and corals, deep burgundy’s and bold reds. Even if you don’t actually wear them out of the house, there’s something that’s just so much fun about lipsticks! They have the ability to turn jeans and a tee into a chic look, can quickly pull an entire outfit together, and are an easy way to change your look from day to night.

When I was asked to try out two of the Vegocentric lipstick shades from Lippy Girl, I was immediately excited to review them! All Lippy Girl makeup items are cruelty free and organic. The Lippy Girl Vegocentric line is also certified vegan and completely free of animal ingredients. The tubes are also recyclable! A good lipstick that’s both vegan and organic is very hard to find. In fact, a lot of readers here at Logical Harmony are going to be very happy to find out about this line from Lippy Girl for that reason!

The Vegocentric line offers a variety of shades. Whether you’re into nudes, pinks, browns or reds, there’s a shade that you’ll love. I was sent Schmoopy and Surf Betty to review, as well as the Extra Virgin Lip Gloss.

Claims:

This premium line of amazing lipsticks are made with organic and wildcrafted, natural oils and waxes and only natural mineral pigments.  100% vegan, bee-free, gluten free and chemical free! Vegocentrics are moisturing and long lasting, and will not bleed!

Pros: The Vegocentric lipsticks were very moisturizing! I loved the colors. What you see in the tube is what you get on your lips, which is nice and will make buying these a painless process for many. They didn’t bleed at all and were very long lasting. The two shades I received, Schmoopy and Surf Betty, were both very natural shades -which I loved! They went on matte, which is great for giving you options.

The Extra Virgin lip gloss was shiny and smelled great. It was also very moisturizing. I’ve noticed that a lot of times when you apply gloss over lipstick, it tend to remove some of the pigment. These two are perfect together as the Extra Virgin gloss didn’t impact the color payout of the LippyGirl lipsticks!

Cons: The two shades I tried were great, but I cannot testify to the pigments of the brighter and darker shades in the line.

The Verdict: I loved them! These are definitely “your lips but better” lipsticks. The gloss smelled great and was very moisturizing for a lip gloss. Not only do I love the shades and the cute packaging, but I also really like the values behind the Lippy Girl brand. I would buy the Lippy Girl lipsticks and would like to try more shades as well. Since the neutrals are so great, I’m now very curious about the other shades in the Vegocentric line.

Great review! I purchased Schmoopy and I love it to bits too- THE perfect natural, every day shade. I think it would suit so many skin tones too. Every vegan needs this in their make up kit ASAP!

Oooh so excited to see this featured, Tashina! I’ve tried (and loved) a lot of Lippy Girl’s products, but yet to pick up one of the Vegocentric lipsticks. Surf Betty has been on my wishlist for ages. I’m glad these are so hydrating – it’s a HUGE plus (well, more like necessity) for me.
