Lily Lolo Sculpt & Glow Contour Duo Review

Lily Lolo Sculpt & Glow Contour Duo Review

You all know how much I love a good contour palette, but sometimes contour duos can be very hit or miss. I love my bigger palettes, but sometimes they are just too much to deal with. At the suggestion of Rhian from Wife Life, I picked up the Lily Lolo Sculpt & Glow Contour Duo to try out. It contains two shades in a hand sized, mirrored compact. Lily Lolo makes very nice cruelty-free mineral makeup, so I was curious to see how this contour duo worked.

Claims: “The skin-flattering bronzer makes for effortless contouring and comes in our easy-to-use, natural pressed formula. The light-reflecting highlighter can be used sparingly for a subtle, fresh daytime glow or intensified for a luminous, killer evening look. Long-lasting, skin-loving wear thanks to anti-ageing Argan oil and marine extract. Plus its vegan-friendly, fragrance and talc free.”

Pros: Very small and compact – perfect for traveling. Shades will match most skin tones. Fragrance-free. Gluten-free. Colors can be used on face or eyes. Mirrored compact.

Cons: Will not work for very light or very dark skin tones.

Is the Lily Lolo Sculpt & Glow Contour Duo vegan? Yes.

The Verdict: The Lily Lolo Sculpt & Glow Contour Duo is a very nice contour duo. I think it’s a great one for those who are looking for a versatile contour kit, those who are new to contouring, or those who need something to keep in their travel bag or purse. The formula is very blendable and the colors look soft and natural. I don’t find that the powders separate or cake up when mixed with other products. The contour shade is dark enough to create a natural contour without being too dark. It’s also not too cool or too warm, but evenly balanced to work great with most complexions. The light shade really does brighten and highlight but also looks very natural. These shades are light and dark enough to work well with most skin tones, which makes it a pretty fool-proof contour kit. I find myself reaching for this kit often and think it’s a great addition to any beauty stash.
