Lily Lolo Laid Bare Eye Shadow Palette Review

Lily Lolo Laid Bare Eye Shadow Palette Review

Lily Lolo is a cruelty free company with lots of vegan options. They make a wide range of products. Everything from BB cream and mineral foundation to bronzer to mascara and pressed eye shadows. The Laid Bare palette contains eight shades of their pressed eye shadows. All of which are vegan. The description for the Laid Bare palette stated that the shadows were creamy, easily blendable, and long-lasting.

Finding a good neutral palette of vegan shades can be hard. Often times the palettes are small or do not live up to their claims and simply are not worth the money. The Laid Bare palette includes more shades than the average nude pressed shadow palettes I have seen out there do. When I first saw this palette on Petit Vour, I had to order it immediately. I was very interested to see how pigmented the shades were and how the palette could fit into my daily makeup routine.

Lily Lolo Laid Bare Eye Shadow Palette Review

The colors in the Lily Lolo Laid Bare palette are (from left to right): Stark Naked (matte, nude pinky beige), Au Naturel (shimmer, pink nude), Skinny Dip (shimmer, golden beige), Shy Away (shimmer, smoky taupe), Lady Godiva (simmer, rich gold), Birthday Suit (matte, grey brown), Exhibitionist (matte, olive brown), Exposed (demi-matte, charcoal) – (via Petit Vour)

The Verdict: This is one of my favorite shadow palettes! I use it nearly every day. All of the shades included in it are great. They are very versatile and you can create so many looks with this palette alone. I also use it combined with others because this palette has so many great nude shades. I find it really versatile to use and have been able to create everyday natural looks and more dramatic smokey looks with this palette.

For a great everyday look, I like to use: Shy Away in my crease, Stark Naked on my brow bone, Au Naturel and Skinny Dip combined on my lid, Shy Away to line my bottom lashes, and Birthday Suit on the outer corner of my eye. Sometimes I pat a little bit of Lady Godiva onto the center of my lid.

If you are looking for a vegan nude palette, do yourself a favor and buy the Lily Lolo Laid Bare palette immediately. I think that everyone needs this palette in their cruelty free makeup bag.
