Samantha Ravndahl, who happens to be one of my all-time favorite beauty YouTubers, is about to launch her line AURIC. When it was announced, I got so many questions about the cruelty-free status and so many people were curious about if there were any AURIC vegan options. While AURIC products aren’t available until January 26, 2021, Samantha wanted AURIC cruelty-free status to be cemented before launch. As a consumer, I was also really hoping to be able to add them to the Cruelty-Free Brand List here on Logical Harmony.

Is AURIC cruelty-free? Yes! AURIC is cruelty-free!

Auric meets all the criteria to be a Logical Harmony Approved cruelty-free brand. There is no animal testing occurring anywhere on their products. They are not selling in any markets that require animal testing, and they do not sell in retail stores in China.

Does AURIC have any vegan products? Yes. AURIC has vegan products.

Not only is AURIC cruelty-free, but they have vegan-friendly products. The vegan options from AURIC will be listed below.

What products make up the AURIC range?

AURIC launched with two products – the Glow Lust Radiant Luminizer and the Smoke Reflect Eye Shadow Duos. Hopefully, more will be added to the line over time. It would be amazing to see foundation added to the line up one day. For now, I think this is such a solid start for the line. Both products seem very versatile and perfect additions to any makeup bag. I love that Samantha wanted to approach her line from a perspective that represented her style and her work.

Samantha put out a video to talk about the values of the brand, the launch of the line, and the products included. I highly suggest watching if you’re interested in the brand. It’s so exciting to see Samantha share her thoughts and you get to see the products too. I’ve been watching her videos for years. In fact, I first found her channel about six years ago while looking for foundation videos on YouTube. Samantha is well-known for dewy skin and I think these launches perfectly fit her style and aesthetic.

Glow Lust Radiant Luminizer 

The Glow Lust Radiant Luminizer comes in seven shades. It’s glitter-free, fragrance-free, paraben-free, gluten-free, and retails for $45.00. This product has some vegan-friendly shades. A lot of people have mistaken this product for a foundation based on the packaging, but it’s a luminizer that can be worn alone, mixed with products, or used as a highlighter as explained below.

For those who lust for luminosity. Packed with ultra-fine pearl and a skin-loving mix of squalane, glycerin and propanediol, this artistry-grade, adjustable formula gives you instant radiance and hydration. It can be worn alone, blended with your favorite skincare or used as a highlighter on top of foundation.

Smoke Reflect Eye Shadow Duos

The Smoke Reflect Shadow Duos come in three shades. It’s are paraben-free, gluten-free, and retails for $39.00. The shades Ego and Defiance are vegan-friendly, but Temper is not.

A smokeshow in a jar. Heads will turn with these eye catching shadow duos. Create creamy-matte, or metallic-glitter looks with two luxe formulas (in a single gorgeous package). Under the top lid is a light-reflecting, micro-glitter eyeshadow infused with high-shine pearls. Inside the glass is a smooth, longwear, creaseless cream shadow.
