Hourglass Cosmetics Immaculate Foundation Review & Demo #FoundationFriday

I recently decided to try out the Hourglass Immaculate Liquid to Powder Foundation because I had heard such great things about this cruelty-free foundation. I have combination skin that’s on the dry side, so I went into testing it out knowing that it may not be the best formula for my skin type. In this post I share my thoughts on the foundation, and a video where I apply it and check-in throughout the day to share how it wears on my skin.

Claims: “A breakthrough liquid to powder formula that absorbs oil, camouflages imperfections, and delivers a long-lasting velvet matte finish—without the need for touch-ups. In a consumer study, Immaculate’s advanced formula has been shown to improve the appearance of oily, blemish-prone skin. Available in 16 shades.”

The Verdict: The Hourglass Immaculate Liquid to Powder Foundation is a really nice cruelty-free foundation. I liked the coverage of it a lot. It applies best with a brush and offered really nice and even coverage. It has a full-coverage finished, but also looks pretty natural. It is also very buildable so you can add more coverage if you would like. It really did help to reduce the appearance of any pores and made me skin look really smooth and even.

As I mentioned above, this cruelty-free foundation is meant for those with oily skin and I have combination skin that is on the dry side. I went into this knowing that the foundation may not work perfectly with my skin, and overall it worked well. It did cling to dry spots, but that is easily avoided by exfoliating and adding in moisture. Outside of this video, I tried it mixed with the Cover FX Infusion Infusion Drops to help add some moisture and the two were a great combination. That said, I have decided to try a different Hourglass Cosmetics foundation that is more geared towards my skin type.
