DermOrganic Hand & Body Moisture Lotion Review

DermOrganic Hand & Body Moisture Lotion Review
Keeping your skin moisturized in the summer is a very important, and often forgotten, step in your skin care routine. With warmer weather odds are you’re exposing your skin to more elements (weather, pollution, etc) and it’s important to give it some extra care. DermOrganic sent me their Hand & Body Moisture Lotion to review. Having already tried some of their hair care line, I was curious about the quality of the lotion. The DermOrganic hair care products are really great, and I was hoping the Hand & Body Moisture Lotion would be as well.

Claims: “Hydrating cream for hand and body. Leaves skin feeling soft, clean and moisturized. Rich formula with a sheer application. Glides on and absorbs quickly -Protects moisture balance.”

Ingredients: Aqua/Eau/Water,Tridecyl Stearate, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Methyl Glucose, Sesquistearate, Stearic Acid, Stearyl Alcohol, Glyceryl Stearate, Methyl Gluceth-20, PCA, Panthenol, Hyaluronan, Glucosamine HCL, Bambusa Vulgaris (Bamboo Leaf) Extract, Rice Amino Acids, Phospholipids, Punica Granatum (Pomegranate) Sterols, Vitis Vinifera (Grape) Seed Extract, Argania Spinosa (Argan) Seed Extract, Yuzu Extract, Glyereth-2 Cocoate/Benzoic Acid. Yuzu extract contains trace amounts of Gardenia, Frangipani, Jasmine, Tuberose, Vanilla, Apricot, Lavender, Apple, Ambrette, Clove, Orange, Ginger and Cardamom extracts.

Pros: Oil free. Fragrance free. Gluten free. Paraben free. Sulfate free. Made with argan oil, Vitamin C and Vitamin E. If you have sensitive skin, this could be a great lotion to try.

Cons: It didn’t absorb quickly, but this isn’t a big deal since it isn’t oily or sticky.

The Verdict: I really liked this lotion. It’s a great one to have on hand because being exposed to so many elements in the summer, my skin can get easily irritated. I also applied it before my favorite self tanner and noticed that it helped it go on very smoothly. Being fragrance free is also great because heat tends to intensify any perfumes in products.

Overall, this was a good lotion and I enjoyed it. I think it’s going to be a great summer lotion!

  1. I am allergic to most body lotions. Like, I sometimes just have to use organic shea butter to moisturize…but obviously, lotions are easier to apply to the body. I’m always on the the look out for something that won’t make me break out.
