Sibu Beauty Replenishing Night Cream Review

Sibu Beauty Replenishing Night Cream Review

Any long-time reader of Logical Harmony will know that I am constantly on the search for a good night cream. Since your skin repairs itself while you sleep, giving it some extra TLC at night should be an essential part of any skin care routine. Recently I received the Replenishing Night Cream to review from Sibu Beauty. This skin care line utilizes the sea buckthorn berry. This berry is high in omegas 3,6,7, and 9. This essential fatty acids are vital to collagen production and healthy skin, hair and nails.

Claims: “Designed to protect your skin’s natural lipid barrier, our sea buckthorn night cream will help reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles while helping to noticeably reduce visible sun damage.”

Ingredients: Water, sd alcohol 40-b, glycerin, cetearyl alcohol, behenyl alcohol, caprylic/capric triglyceride, cocos nucifera (coconut) oil, stearic acid, polyglyceryl-10 pentastearate, sea buckthorn seed oil (hippophae rhamnoides), olea europaea (olive) fruit unsaponifiables, phenethyl alcohol, sea buckthorn fruit extract, (hippophae rhamnoides), limnanthes alba (meadowfoam) seed oil, hydrolyzed rice bran protein, butyrospermum parkii (shea) butter extract, panthenol, brassica juncea (brown mustard) sprout extract, brassica oleracea acephala sprout extract, brassica oleracea botrytis (cauliflower) sprout extract, brassica oleracea capitata (cabbage) sprout extract, brassica oleracea italica (broccoli) sprout extract, wasabi japonica root extract, glycine soja (soybean) protein, oxido reductases, aloe barbadensis leaf juice, cucurbita pepo (pumpkin) seed extract, hyaluronic acid, xanthan gum, sea water, sodium stearoyl lactylate, sodium anisate, sodium levulinate, sodium phytate, fragrance (from orange and lemon essential oils)

Pros: Cruelty free and vegan. GMO-free. Fair trade ingredients. Durable and recyclable packaging. Lightly scented formula. Thick and creamy, but not oily. Works for all skin types.

Cons: None.

The Verdict: The Replenishing Night Cream from Sibu Beauty is a product that I would purchase and suggest to others. After two weeks of daily use, I was able to see a noticeable improvement in my skin. Fine lines and wrinkles aren’t a concern of mine yet, but I strongly believe in being pro-active about skin care. Using this night cream did improve the tone and texture of my skin. I can imagine that it would also reduce fine lines as well. It absorbed quickly and was not at all greasy. I woke up with very soft and supple skin that felt nourished and refreshed.

Lush Ro’s Argan Body Conditioner Review

Lush Ro's Argan Body Conditioner Review

Dry winter skin is something that I battle every year. So many moisturizers are too light, too greasy, don’t absorb well, or smell too artificial for my tastes. Recently Lush sent me some products for review, including Ro’s Argan Body Conditioner. All Lush products are cruelty free, and this product is also vegan. I had been hearing great things about this body conditioner for some time and couldn’t wait to try it!

Claims: “Luxurious rose-scented shower lotion for the softest skin that ever was.”

Ingredients: Fresh Spring Water (Aqua) , Glycerine , Almond Oil (Prunus dulcis) , Cypress Leaf Infusion (Cupressus sempervirens) , Brazil Nut Oil (Bertholletia Excelsa) , Vanilla Pod (Vanilla planifolia) , Fair Trade Shea Butter (Butyrospermum parkii) , Stearic Acid , Argan Oil (Argania spinosa) , Cupuacu Butter (Theobroma Grandiflorum) , Fragrance , Triethanolamine , Cocoa Butter (Theobroma cacao) , Goji Berry Decoction (Lycium barbarum) , Rose Absolute (Rosa damascena) , Geranium Oil (Pelargonium graveolens) , Lemon Oil (Citrus limonum) , Limonene , Cetearyl Alcohol , Citronellol , Coumarin , Geraniol , Methylparaben , Propylparaben

Pros: Cruelty free and vegan. All natural ingredients. Very delicious smell! A little bit of product goes a long way. Duel use – can be used before the shower or after.

Cons: None.

The Verdict: After just one use, I could see what all the hype about Ro’s Argan Body Conditioner is. This product is amazing! For starters, the formula is so thick and creamy without being greasy or oily. You don’t need a lot or product to get great results. Just a finger-scoop full is enough for your entire body. I tried it both before a shower and after and loved it both ways. It’s super moisturizing and left my skin feeling amazing. Plus, the smell! It’s such a delicious rose scent. It’s not at all artificial and, mixed with the slight nut oils, vanilla, and cocoa butter the scent has so much depth.

I would definitely purchase Ro’s Argan Body Conditioner once my press sample is used up. Like most Lush products, it’s definitely worth the hype. You can buy it alone or in the Winter Garden vegan gift set.

Sibu Beauty Sea Buckthorn Liquid& Cellular Support Supplements Review

Supplements that target your hair and skin and are free from animal ingredients can be quite difficult to find. Especially effective supplements. Sibu Beauty sent me a liquid and gel supplement that was made to help hair, skin, and nails. This supplement combo was said to have an amazing combination of Omega fatty acids, antioxidants, and rich in phytosterols, polyphenols, amino acids, carotenoids, vitamins and minerals.

Claims: The liquid supplement claims to, “Improves skin tone and texture, supports hair and nail growth, abundant source of omega fatty acids, powerful free radical scavenger, and supports sustained energy levels.” The cellular suppor supplement claims to, “Repairs and rejuvenates damaged cells, powerful free radical scavenger to fight the aging process, and increases vitality.

Organic Sea Buckthorn Oil Blend (1000 mg), Organic Sea Buckthorn Fruit Oil (800 mg), Organic Sea Buckthorn Seed Oil (200 mg)

Pros: Cruelty free and vegan formula. All natural ingredients. GMO-Free. Fair Trade ingredients. Lots of Omega fatty acids. Sea buckthorn is high in antioxidants and the only plant in the world known to contain essential fatty acids 3, 6, 7 and 9.

Cons: The flavor of the liquid supplement may not be for everyone, but you can easily add it to juices and smoothies.

The Verdict: When I first received these supplements I admit that I was a bit skeptical about if they would actually work or not. I’ve gone on kicks in the past of taking pre-natal supplements in hopes of it helping the health of my hair, skin, and nails but never saw any real results. I took these two supplements together every day and was really impressed! I definitely noticed that my nails were growing faster and stronger. My hair seemed to be in better condition and growing a little faster as well. My skin was looking better and better. I would say that I definitely saw a lot of positive results from taking the Sibu Beauty Sea Buckthorn Liquid Supplement and Cellular Support Supplements. I’m now hooked on them!
