Curious about the Bite Beauty Changemaker Foundation? Learn more about it here.

Bite Beauty is cruelty-free and recently sent me the vegan-friendly Bite Beauty Changemaker Foundation, primer, setting powder, and some other goodies. I wanted to try them for the first time on camera in this first impressions video and wear test.

What’s also super exciting is that Bite Beauty is now a fully vegan brand! It’s truly amazing seeing as a few years ago they didn’t have a single vegan option, and now their entire line is free of animal ingredients.

Cruelty-free & vegan products used in the Bite Beauty Changemaker Foundation First Impressions video:

I’m so excited to be bringing back foundation videos, first impressions, and reviews. Foundation is one of my favorite products to try out. For a little background, I have dry skin and I prefer medium to full coverage liquid foundations. I usually apply foundations with a damp beauty sponge or with a flat top brush.

My initial thoughts about the Bite Beauty Changemaker Foundation

This video shows one day of wearing the foundation, I do have some thoughts to share with you. I talk about them more in-depth in the video too.

The pros

I was really impressed with the Bite Beauty Changemaker Foundation. It felt really lightweight on the skin. It provided good buildable coverage. It also wore well throughout the day. I used my fingers to apply it and thought this worked really well. Using the Bite Beauty Changemaker Primer helped to keep my skin hydrated throughout the day. I didn’t notice any issues with the foundation on my dry areas.

The cons

I did notice that the foundation oxidized and became a darker shade after application. I am going to try other methods of application and try it with other products. I want to figure out what could be the cause of this. What I noticed re-watching the application is that this seemed to happen when I was applying the Bite Beauty Changemaker Pressed Powder, so I wonder if the pressing motion caused it.

Will I use the Bite Beauty Changemaker Foundation again?

Yes! I really enjoyed it. I also want to put out a follow-up review video answering questions I have gotten about the foundation.

Have you tried the Changemaker Foundation? How did it work for you?
