Recently cruelty-free brand Anastasia Beverly Hills launched several brand new liquid lipstick shades. They also said that these shades were part of a new formulation of their popular liquid lipstick formula, which has not vegan-friendly and has previously contained beeswax. I reached out to Anastasia Beverly Hills to find out if any of the new shades happened to be vegan-friendly… And some of them are!

  1. I hate to be the Debby Downer in this sense, but I just checked Sephora’s website and…

The only shade that is vegan now is Allison.

I made the mistake of buying Kathryn assuming it was vegan, but after checking, I don’t want anyone else making the same mistakes I did.

    1. Hi Tracy,

The Sephora website uses the ingredient lists for the older shades that have not been reformulated. It’s not accurate. If you ask ABH, they will confirm that the shades listed here are all vegan.

  2. Hi just a head’s up, it states on almost all websites that these shades include Carmine and Beeswax, both of which aren’t vegan. Just letting you know!

    1. Hi Danni,

The shades listed here are vegan and are free of beeswax and carmine. 🙂 Because not all of the liquid lipstick shades are vegan, and most do contain beeswax and some contain carmine, most online sites are not updating the ingredient lists to be accurate for all of the shades. I wish there was some sort of rule that the ingredients listed on websites needed to be accurate. 🙁 If you ask ABH directly they will confirm that the shades listed here don’t contain beeswax, carmine, or any other animal ingredients and are vegan. I hope this helps!

  3. Hi there:) Would you be able to do a vegan list for anastasia products please? I heard there are a lot of vegan products like the glow kits, lip glosses and eyebrow products. I might be wrong but would be great to know as I am only starting out in buying vegan products:) and am making an order 🙂 thanks
