There has been a lot of amazing buzz about the Lunatick Cosmetic Labs Supernatural Palette. After seeing so many people use it to create gorgeous looks, I had to pick it up for myself! In this post I show swatches of what each shade looks like and my review on the palette as a whole.

In the video above, I show swatches of each shade in the palette. Because most of the swatches and demos that I had seen were on very fair skin, I wanted to share what these shades look like on medium toned skin.

Lunatick Cosmetic Labs is known for their packaging. Their current eye shadow palettes come in coffin-shaped packaging. The Lunatick Cosmetic Labs Supernatural Palette is decorated like a ouija board on the front and back. Inside the palette are color illustrations.

Invocation is a shimmery mauve shade.

Invocation Ingredients: Mica (CI 77019), Titanium Dioxide (CI 77891), Zinc Stearate, Silica, Dimethicone, Magnesium Stearate, Octyldodecanol, Iron Oxides (CI 77489, CI77491, CI 77492, CI 77499), Phenoxyethanol, Caprylyl Glycol, Ethylhexylglycerin, Hexylene Glycol, Red 40 Lake (CI 16035).

Myth is a matte pale pink shade.

Myth Ingredients: Mica (CI 77019), Titanium Dioxide (CI 77891), Zinc Stearate, Silica, Dimethicone, Octyldodecanol, Phenoxyethanol, Caprylyl Glycol, Ethylhexylglycerin, Hexylene Glycol, Red 40 Lake (CI 16035), Blue 1 Lake (CI 42090).

Spook is a shimmery burgundy shade.

Spook Ingredients: Mica (CI 77019),Iron Oxides (CI 77489, CO 77491, CI 77492, CI 77499), Zinc Stearate, Dimethicone, Silica, Octyldodecanol, Magnesium Carbonate, Phenoxyethanol, Caprylyl Glycol, Ethylhexylglycerin, Hexylene Glycol, Titanium Dioxide (CI 77891).

Reincarnation is a matte dark mauve with a touch of grey.

Ghoulight is a matte cooled-toned purple.

Ghoulight Ingredients: Mica (CI 77019), Iron Oxides (CI 77489, CO 77491, CI 77492, CI 77499), Titanium Dioxide (CI 77891), Ultramarines (CI 77007), Silica,Dimethicone, Octyldodecanol, Zinc Stearate, Phenoxyethanol, Caprylyl Glycol, Ethylhexylglycerin, Hexylene Glycol.

Pros: Very smooth and buttery shadows. Mix of shimmery and matte shades. Very unique and hard to find vegan shades. Cruelty free and vegan brand.

Cons:

The Verdict: Overall, I really like the Lunatick Cosmetic Labs Supernatural Palette. I admit that the shades aren’t exactly what I was expecting. Because I had only ever seen the palette on people with very fair skin tones, I did not realize how different the shades would appear on my skin tone. It would be great if swatches showing a variety of skin tones were added to the website for this reason. I am happy with the colors and how they look, but they are much warmer and more pink-toned than I was expecting them to be.

I love the colors that are in this palette. They are really unique and all shades that have been hard to find in a vegan formula. I really like the Lunatick Cosmetic Labs shadow formula. They all blended very well and were very buttery and pigmented. This is a fun and unique palette to add to my collection. If you are looking to step outside the box with your shadow collection, I would definitely suggest picking up this palette.
