When it comes to liquid lipsticks, you could say that I like to try them all. Each brand seems to have their own approach to the concept. Not only is the branding and packaging different for each brand, but the types of shades available. When the Dose of Colors Terra Collection first became available, I was intrigued. I have a few of their lipsticks (and love them!) but had read mixed reviews about their liquid lipsticks. After seeing the colors in this trio on people, I knew that I needed to try this set.

Claims: Our liquid lipstick is a velvety high-fashion matte finish which envelops lips in a rich color. Glides on smoothly and stays put throughout the day.

The darkest shade in the Dose of Colors Terra Collection is Brick. This shade is a rich burgundy. As far as reds go, Brick is on the brown side of the spectrum instead of an orange-red.

The nude shade in this set is called Sand. This is a very pale beige nude with a neutral tone. It can be worn alone, but also works great mixed with other shades.

Stone is a pinky-nude and what I would call an everyday lip color. It is super flattering on everyone and is does not look like you are wearing an obvious lip shade.

Pros: Very pigmented. Smooth and creamy formula. Dries quickly to a matte finish. Versatile looks can be created with the trio. Cruelty free brand. Vegan formula.

Cons: The color does need to be re-applied after eating. The colors are only sold in this set and cannot be purchased individually.

The Verdict: The Dose of Colors Terra Collection is a great, high-quality, and versatile liquid lipstick set. I think that the three colors are really pretty on their own and can be mixed together to create unique shades. Most matte lipsticks tend to feel drying on my lips. I prepped mine by exfoliating them and applying alipbalm, but felt that these were slightly less drying than other liquid matte lipsticks I have tried. They are so pigmented, go on very smoothly, and dry quickly. While I did notice that they did not wear very well during eating, re-applying them is a breeze!

If you have been on the fence about trying liquid lipsticks, this is a great set to start with. My favorite part about this set is that it contains three shades that are so different from one another. This can be great for those who, like me, tend to purchase the same shades over and over. It introduces you to shades you may not normally buy. I love how long-lasting these liquid lipsticks are. Overall, I am really happy with the Dose of Colors Terra Collection!
